I'm going to be having this auction for some eggs to one of my Sabino 3 mares, she's heterozygous so I won't guarantee the Sabino 3 gene on an egg until you reach a certain reserve that will be set after the auction starts. I'll end the auction after a 24 hour period has passed with no bids.

Okay, the Auction is over! None of these eggs will be guaranteed for the Sabino 3 gene, as they did not meet that particular reserve. Everyone should have their eggs by the end of the day, thanks for bidding!

Thank you very much! I doubled my chance for Sb3 by using a straw from a Sb3 stallion, and that paid off. Lucas, however, determined that the resulting filly would be better in the show ring than the breeding shed. However, with an 11PT she will make a stunning addition to my show string when she grows up.

Since I badly need to increase my neuter/intact ratio, I am not unhappy with this result.

My pretty was spayed by SMA, but she'll be a lovely show horse.

That's a nice looking youngster, Blue Jewels.

Meanwhile, I'm feeling a little red-faced. I was looking for my foal among the new spayed mares in the primary barn so I could show it off to my daughter. It wasn't there. He's a gelding, not a spayed mare. Oops. And I knew I couldn't rely on the image to determine gender, too.
