I was checking foals. I came across this lovely foal

FS Haldakexama 3 0

I was thinking oh wow she's perfect, she's just what I wanted from that bloodline.

Then I happened to check her pedigree. Whoops!

I accidentally bred a bunch of my mares for my leopard appy line to my liver studs instead of my Leo ones last season! So. Many. Chestnuts!

lol, I've done that once or twice... well, probably more like half a dozen times by now. ^_^ Years later, and I'll still run across a grandfoal from one I missed.

Lol yeah. I made sure to move her dam and one other jumper I found back to the pasture where they should have been in the first place.

I’ve done that before. I use the alphabet to indicate generations and somehow manages to throw a bunch of JLd mares in with JSb studs in a 100 acre pasture so had around 60-80 foals with pedigrees with 3 generations in the top half and 5 generations on the bottom half
