What Caused Some Mares Not to Breed
-
In this pasture, I have foundation mares age 4 and over. The stud is 4 years old, and when I bred all pastures, he had 0 live covers this season. Now he has 13, but you can see based on the days in pasture, there were 29 mares in the pasture when I clicked to breed it. What would’ve caused the other 16 mares not to be bred?

I have no idea. Try breeding the pasture again and see what happens. Just looking at the pasture page, I'm not seeing any reason for this to have happened.
-
Do you have enough money for all of them to breed?
-
If he hasn't reached his live cover breedings, everyone is of age and you have the money in your account to cover costs.. I would venture to say it's a glitch.. I would try pressing the 'breed this pasture' button and if it happens again, post in the bug forum

I've had that happen before, too. I just figured it was a glitch and bred the pasture again.Chuck help me resist the Shiny babies.... Chuck says I'm on my own. :'(

I had over 4M hbs at the time, and only about 500 mares, so more than enough - great idea though. I just hit breed all pastures again and the rest of my mares bred. I believe my exact mare total in the pasture was 533, and all but 33 bred. Is there a limit of 500 mares than can be bred at once?Post edited by LenasHollywood at 2019-07-05 13:47:42

Yes, the limit is 500, but if you have more than 500 pasture mares, you can just click the button again, until all mares are bred. I think it was created to prevent server problems by huge barns breeding thousands of mares with one click on the same day

Makes total sense - I just wish that was noted somewhere. I almost lost my pasture bonus on some because after they’re bred, I show my mares each month, and started removing them from pastures thinking everyone had been bred.Post edited by LenasHollywood at 2019-07-05 15:03:37
