So on the https://www.huntandjump.com/breeding_info.php it says horses can no longer breed at age 20. But this mare was able to be bred at age 24 so I'm a little confused. Did I break the game? :-) Is it literal, horses can't breed at 20 but can at 21? LOL joking.

I used the 'Use A Straw' section in the Advanced Breeding Lab.

To be sure: You used the straw on the mare, and NOT on an egg, correct?

Definitely. I never pulled any eggs from the mares when I was on last(they were too young) and I only have a basic upgrade so I can't pull any now.

This is definitely a thing. I just did a search for my mares that are over 20, selected one, then went to the Use A Straw page and found this:

However, when I checked earlier today, choosing a young stallion and using a different over 20 mare, that mare was not available using the In-House Breeding feature.
