Help With Chinchilla. Post your guys here!

Hey guys so I really love the looks of the Chinchilla gene but I cannot find much on it. (i am on mobile so my apologies if there is a thread) would anyone be willing to explain the gene to me? Chin strips red pigment and leaves black intact, when homozygous. It's completely recessive, so it doesn't do anything when heterozygous. So a chestnut with hom chin is basically white, and a black with chin is black. It tends to look best on bays, browns, and silvers were there is both red and black pigment so that greying effect can happen. It can also be super fun to mix with dilutes like champagne:
