My first intact 8G horses
-
FS Calasatisavorni 8
FS Calasacaplaxta 8
I don't know what I'll do with those 2 ladies when they reach breeding age. I don't have a boy waiting for them, nor do I have one yet. -
Next season is always an option to try again for one since he only has to be 3 and they have to be 4 to breed.

Or you could gmt one of them into a stallion
-
Wow, they are great! I sort of feel the same dilemma as I've reached one 8th generation intact mare with my homebred line but no signs of having an 8G stallion any time soon. I know I have some serious mare lag going on but I don't have SBA so it might be awhile before I get the stallion. Your mares are lovely and I'll have my fingers crossed for you to get a magical 8G stallion next season! :)ID 40045

Bluecreek, the other 2 foals were colts that were gelded by SBA. Besides, I only keep sup to sire colts that pass SBA.
Even if I was to GMT one into a boy, there's no guarantee that he would test sup to sire.
