I’m having a hard time deciding if I want to keep this filly. She’s all I’m breeding for, Roan,Het KP, pearl, Splash and cream but she papered same as momma but higher PT than both. Should I spay or wait and see?Licensed for Mushroom,Onyx, Watercolor, Ice 13, ice 16, Phantom lace, Phantom Diamond sparkle. -
Id wait just to breed and test. Like maybe do a LC and an embryo her 4yo season to see the quality and then decide. I do that with my lined babies sometimes :)

Blue is a perfectly acceptable paper level for a 4G, especially coming from non-boosted stock.Post edited by SharayahStables at 2019-08-06 09:56:19

My foundation stock is almost entirely exceptional producers and I have fairly strict standards for papering and AFPT but only about 24% (137 of 567) of my SBA passed 4th gen mares paper gold and I don't automatically spay blue papered fillies until 5th gen (although I have required 4th gen colts to paper star since I got enough of them to breed all my lines). Starting with mostly regular create foundations, you can expect it to take an extra generation. On HJ2 (now the Forest Server), before that server had exceptional foundations, gold or star at 4th gen was possible, but exceedingly rare (well under 1% of my SBA passed horses even with strict culling standards, although I never calculated the exact percentage).Post edited by LakeOndowaFarm at 2019-08-06 10:57:40Breeding high quality Sheldasen horses in all the fancy colors.
