@Peachtree - I told my husband the same thing =))

Wooohoo 1 more culling tool!
-
Um the mare testing could be cheaper, I think. Considering how many mares I have to test.
-
I'm so happy about this! I've been swarming with mares and not progressing past 7th/8th generation so this will change my whole game. I think I'm going to start with my foals from this season and just let my older mares age out without testing (with some exceptions of course). A big thank you to Ammit!ID 40045

It will not be made cheaper. It is completely unnecessary and a luxury.Need to contact me? Read this first.

It may be expensive, but I feel it will help my stock from stagnating on the dam side. I've been testing my 2nd gen pastures, and I've already found a number that were only AGA their foundation dams. Including a red papered mare with a yellow papered dam.
I've got 940ish mares to test.Post edited by Forestshadow at 2019-08-14 11:30:12 -
I'm planning on using it a lot too so I'll be spending quite a bit of hbs. But I think the price should be just as high as the colts because it's a process to greatly improve the line. If you want the quality, you have to pay for it. :D I've narrowed down most of my fillies to height and genetics so next step will be testing. Thank you, Ammit, for indulging our request with a totally frivolous test, though. :)) maybe our herds will become smaller.Thanked by 1kgstable

When you consider the cost spent currently and finding out how good a mare is it works out pretty cheap.Need to contact me? Read this first.

Absolutely!

So far I've lost nearly my entire herd of 6th gens. The 7th and the 2 8th gen mares didn't measure up.
