Dapples like that were added recently as part of Ammit's ongoing upgrade of the image generation system. They are very common on silvers like your horse and can appear on most other colors as well as an option in the image generation, but are not part of the horse's genetics. If you re-roll a horse's image (from it's control panel or the IV manager, not the refresh image button under its picture) several times it may gain or loose them.

We don't include every thing in the color name because the names got crazy long.
