Gold Paper Foundation Mare
-
Looking through one of my horses pedigrees, I found this crazy horse from 2007...

I gather that the papers were different back then? Would this be considered a Blue mare today?Post edited by BlueBoy at 2019-08-22 10:16:06 -
I saw her too lol. The highest a foundation can be nowadays is red, unless she's boosted, so... I guess she'd be red?Spiderweb Stables

Yes the paper levels were different then.
Testing was more simple then. A good breeding horse was Star/Gold, didn't matter what generation it was. Of course, the problem with that was a lot of lines stagnated since there was really no quality check.
So Ammit added the paper level system to serve as a quality check. Then SBA was added. You get the idea.
That mare could be Failed or Yellow nowadays. In those days, Red would haven't existed.Post edited by Forestshadow at 2019-08-23 11:48:41 -
Thanks guys, that makes a lot of sense. I just thought that she was the coolest thing lol, So the papers that would have existed would have been Gold/Star and Yellow/C?
