My Horse Changed Colors?
  • my horse Tack was black with a black main and tail but I added this new tack item to him and his whole color changed? he became grey? I took the item off and he is now grey? is this a glitch or something? I like his color before I mean I don't hate this grey but I like the old color a lot more that's the reason I bought him was for the black color.
  • this is him now.

  • His picture could've updated (re-rolled) when you added the tack to him! Appaloosas will varnish (turn greyer) over time so his picture probably just updated

  • aw okay I was just confused I thought I clicked a different horse or something
  • Haha nope, it happens! You just see it more drastically with something like an appaloosa because of varnish! After roll-over this month he will probably continue to grey out even more :)

  • This is one of my black appaloosa show ponies.
She has a high rate of varnish.

In contrast this is also a black appaloosa show pony, while only eleven you can clearly see this one has a slow rate. A few varnish spots, but not a solid white yet.
