So I opened my show barn 1 this evening and.... it's sorted in a COMPLETE different order then it was when I went through and did my weekly 'who leveled and who didn't' 2-3 days ago, ordered highest level to lowest with I think youngest horse first with oldest horse in that level last.

Now... I haven't got a CLUE how they are ordered. First two horses are 8L, then 8R, four next 8L, then 8R, 8L, 8R, 8L... so on so forth.

You can't click 'highest level to lowest' because I sort them as spayed first and then geldings and once you sort them the spayed and geldings are all mixed. It's entirely messed up. Is there any chance that we can get things set back up to how it was a few days ago? This entirly messes up ALL 45 barns that I own and have spreadsheets for. I've been doing it this way for what, 8 years? At least have a button that sorts them the old way?

Ohhh, this is new to me, I didn't know that the horses in the barns could be sorted in specific ways, I thought they just went where they popped up at when you created them and put them into a barn. (Would so have much more ease if I can move them in the barn to where I want them!)

Meanwhile, JDW, have you checked to see if they are sorted by Era now? That is what I noticed on my barns, that they sort by Era, so I have to hunt in different places for studs now, instead of them being all on the top together like they used to be.
Just thought I would mention that, in case you hadn't thought of it.

The sort changed by era when era came out. 0 first, all by level, 1 all by that level, 2 all by that level. Now they are still sorted by era as well but they are still messed up and not sorted by level.

To be honest I have no idea how to respond to this post. It sounds you think I intentionally made some change but I have zero idea what you are talking about. I don't know about any changes to any ordering system. Looking at my barns I don't see any changes. Looking at your barn they appear to be sorted the same way they always have. I haven't made any changes. Yes the member page was updated but the public member page hasn't been touched and those pages match. If it had changed those pages would look different, but as far as I can tell they don't.

I can't set anything back the way it ways because I honestly don't know of any other way they have ever been sorted.

If you look at show barn #1, that is the exact name. The horses are no longer organized from highest level to lowest with spayed mares first and geldings second. I don't know why the change other then we have pastures now. Perhaps that somehow changed the order of how the horses are arranged?

Every barn has this change, Brood - Mare Show, the horses are arranged as soon as I open the barn. 8L,8L,8L,7L,7R,7L...

Just trying to say some how they are no longer ordered from highest level to lowest and seperated by gender.

They are all 0 era, older horses.

Went to my stallion barn who has a mix of different eras in it. The era's are now not sorted at all.

It has never default sorted by eras.

Until this week in every one of my barns 0 era was first with the other eras on the bottom of the barn page. Era 0, sorted by level. Then Era 1, sorted by level and so on.

I would take a screenshot of it right now but I don't have a way to post to show that the levels aren't organized in the barn right. I went to my husband computer to have him log in to see if it was just my computer and they sort them the same way.

Have you tried a different browser? Not sure if it'd make a difference or not, but it's worth a shot.

It would make no difference at all.

You can tell me they are wrong five ways till Sunday but since I don't know which what you think is correct nor has anyone else said they look wrong, nor does the public member page look any different I still can't set it back to anything.

My barns are sorted strangely too. The SM/ geldings are sorted, but within those the levels are not in order (8L, 8R, 7N, 7R, 7N, 7W, etc instead of 8R, 8R, 8L, 8L, 8L, 7W, 7W, etc). I had noticed before, but since I don't have time to hand enter my horses anymore, I hadn't needed to deal with it. They are separated by era, but that has nothing to do with it.

My primary barn also used to default sort by era. Now it is a hodgepodge sort. I have no idea how my barn is sorted now. ;) When I need to search someone,I click on name as I can get my generations that way.

Guys is the ONLY issues that they are not 8R, 8R, 8L, 8L, 8L, 7W, 7W instead of 8L, 8R, 7N, 7R, 7N, 7W? I can make it that order but not one person has told me how they want it to be sorted. Just let me know how you want it and I can make it but no one has told me how it used to be.

My very first post tells in the first paragraph how it used to be sorted.

Highest level first with youngest horses of that level listed first. If spayed and geldings are in the same barn, spayed first with geldings listed after all the spayed.

That isn't right. We have never sorted that way. It has always been sorted by gender first and for most.

It doesn't matter to me any more, I've stopped showing. I put my entire 1000 show barn into the auction last week. I don't care how it's sorted anymore. The other players may or they might not.

Stallions where always first on the list. :-?

It has always been stallions, then spayed mares, then mares, then geldings. It is reverse alphabetical by gender. It has never been sorted by highest level first.

The barn in question Only had spayed and geldings within it. My stallion barn only has stallions in it. My mare barn only had mares in it.

When you first opened the barn, without choosing any sort method. By SEX, then level with spayed mares first and geldings next. I don't mix sexes (unless in the sales barn and I didn't keep track of them) so how they sort I never knew or cared. if you wanted it any other way you clicked the sort buttons at the top which isn't anything I normaly did.
