Sold Back to the Game?

Why do some horses sold back to the game show as deceased immediately while other give the option to rescue them? I sold them back to the game intentionally because I no longer need them, but don’t want to risk anyone changing their names down the line as they’ll be foundations of my line, and renaming would make my names look weird later (weird I know, but what I decided to do). Just want to ensure they can’t go into circulation - if I have to in order to keep them out, I’ll rescue them but I don’t need more show ponies at their PT scores right now.

True, but I am worried that if they were a perfect foundation, they may go up for sale through the foundation rescue. There has to be some reason it saved some but not all that were sold back.

The ones in foundation rescue came from the auctions

In the past, that has been true, but since this feature is new, I wasn’t sure entirely how it worked. As of this morning, they are all now listed as deceased.

And also, horses who have descendands will never go to rescue (unless that have been changed lately) :)
