Can’t be entered into Gulastra’s Plume breeders club?

    Both of his parents are Homozygous GP so he should be, too. He’s bay based. Any idea why he can’t be entered into the GP breeders club?

    I think it is because of the onyx as that is a fantasy gene and horses with fantasy genes (also ice, nexus, plaid, etc) can only be entered in the fantasy club.
    However, his sire is entered in the breedersclub, so I suspect his sire was entered and after that the onyx was added.
    Because he is indeed homo GP (two homo GP parents) and he is bay/brown based: the only 2 requirements to be added to the club have been met

    Edit: Ah Ammit beat me to it haha! So yes the onyx!

    Whoops, I own the sire & didn't realise he was entered in the GP club.

    You are right, the onyx was added after all the other GMT work.

    I really wish we could have separate clubs for Fantasy genes. It’s nearly impossible to make the leaderboard with the old established lines in them. It would be neat to have (for example) an Axiom club, Onyx, Chinchilla (my apologies if there is one - I know we have Mushroom), etc. Or maybe by fantasy allele (Rainbow Riot etc)? Sorry, thinking out loud!

    I understand not being able to register fantasy horses in other clubs, it would just be so nice to have a chance to be competitive with new genes in their own.

    Ooooooh. I thought it might be because of the Fantasy gene, but his sire was in the club so I was like, “Nah, that’s not it.” Lol Whoops!
