We are getting ready for the Holiday season with a new Decor Awards CHAAAALLLENGE! and I am posting this extra early to give everyone time.

During the Holiday season lots of fancy herd helpers will be going out and lots of fancy creates will be made and shared. So here is the challenge. You are to create a foundation stallion. You can use a herd helper, gmt it, use a clone I don't care. But you need a foundation create that has not been bred before. The stallion can be any age as long as it as they have no foals on the ground already.

You must make a special ad for this stallion. That's it just this one horse. Make this one horse's ad the fanciest most awesome ad you can.

In the spirit of the holiday season there are absolutely no stud rules allowed. Just stand the horse with a gracious and open heart in the spirit of giving. You can set whatever stud fee you want but no stud rules.

Ads can be posted as early as Christmas day. Judging will begin New Years Day.

I will be giving out the normal decor award HB prizes and special additional awards as well.

Someone asked me about it on HJ2 last season and no one ever posted an ad. If there is enough interest I will but otherwise no.

I'm so stoked for this...in fact, I've already started *Squee* I really hope there are a ton of entries, and over the course of the past few days I've really made some neat looking colts and selected several to keep just to put up for lower cost to players. I've really slacked from putting up public breeding, and I want to get away from that and start putting boys up for stud and mares up for breeding like I used to :)

I have the same question. I don't know what should I do - start making the ad for a stallion that I already have or wait some time for better DHHs.

If the stallion will be turning three in January, is that an acceptable horse to use for the ad (since it won't actually be of breeding age until judging begins)?

Yes you can use horses who will be three in Jan. Not an issue.
