Freaky Friday horses are Homozygous frame.. when you have a horse who is Homozygous frame it creates a lethal white. In real life, Lethal whites have an incomplete digestive system and go into colic shortly after birth and either pass away or are Euthanized between 24/48 hours if not immediately..
In the game however, while breeding two frames together give you a chance of having your foal pass away from lethal genes, the Freaky Friday herd helper is the exception to this rule.
Up until now the Freaky Fridays were either black or "Black" (Hom DP) Liver Chestnut... Now they will be genetically Black or "Black" (Hom DP) Liver Chestnut, but all you'll see is white

Freaky Friday's are hom DP, hom Sooty, and hom Frame. Here's one, who's a black liver

Since hom frame is always lethal and doesn't exist in real life, up til now the game's been rendering it in FFs to look the same as het frame. But if it did exist in real life, the guess is that the horse would be all white, like horses with double copies of other somewhat similar genes are. As a result, Ammit decided (with our input) to update hom frame to be as realistic as possible, so once the image generation updates that she mentioned are done, all hom frames will be turning all white with the update.

Yes, it would look like any other heterozygous frame liver, depending on the rest of the genetics of course.

I always interpreted it as they always have either a black or liver base also.

But since roan is a kit gene and doesn't affect the base color it still has a random chance of appearing I think.

Soooo what all can they be then? Black or liver based. But what else can they get by chance?

Any of the gene you will get out of any of the common herd helper creates. If you look up Freaky Friday in the tattoo section of the horse search, you will be able to see all the Freaky Fridays currently in the game. Aside from ones that are modified (Mushroom, Sab2, satin, etc) you'll find some have Tobiano, Appaloosa, W20, etc

They can get champagne as well. One of my first Freaky Fridays on the Forest server was created a gold champagne.
