The premise:
A ghostly visitor, defying all logic and rules, enters your pasture in the dead of night, leaving all your mares with shiny new foals.
If you got to pick the ghostly visitor, who would it be?

What to do:
Find the deceased horse (even if it's a mare, even if it's gelded or spayed - ghosts make their own rules) that you would be most excited to get a crop of surprise babies from!
Post your visitor, and a brief explanation of why you'd pick their ghost.
Contest will end November 1st

Prizes (thank you @ConfluenceStable!):
First place will get two genes (four alleles) from the GMT lab
Second place will get one gene (two alleles) from the GMT lab
Third place will get one allele from the GMT lab
(Winners to be chosen by RNG :) )

Example:
I would love for this ghost to leave me a crop of foals because I adore the satin on liver (one of my eventual goals is some homegrown satin livers!), and I'm partial to KitM, but without toooo much white.

I would love a crop of foals from this lovely lady. Homozygous for dun. And is liver. Has kit M and a copy of pearl. As an even-bred 2g Blue, she/her foals could slot in nicely to either my main lines or into my bootstrap herd.

Here's my choice! This lovely guy has a lot going for him, I try to breed primarily with hom DP foundation studs, which he is, as well as being mushroom (my mushroom line needs some love), satin, and with that gorgeous app blanket. I really love how flaxen manes and tails look with mushroom :x

I picked a 'ghost' from Forest server, because I didn't figure they'd get too much loving. I love the random sparkle and shine of this genetic combination, so would definitely be excited for some foals from this line.

this contest is fun! I would love a crop of this guy's foals. He has a lot of the genes I'd like in my lines including brown, S+, chinchilla, and satin. Bonus is he has pearl and splash M which are also fun!

@bluchrystals any horses from the forest server can not be brought over to this server. Best bet is to find a horse close enough to him here. There are also some fantasy genes only available on the Forest server. I have pictures of what genes are available on each server but tinypic is no longer working so I can't really show which ones sadly.

For the purposes of this, I'd say it's fine - it's a ghost horse anyhow. :) Rules need not apply to ghosts.

@Vella I just looked at my pictures and thankfully the closed genes are available here so in the end I see nothing wrong with it either thankfully. Just wanted to make sure the genes were available here so there were no sad faces in the end.

Ah, I didn't think we were asking for genes from the 'ghost'. If that is the case mine wouldn't work anyway, because ice 6 and 2 aren't on sale right now.

Nope, the genes the winners ask for don't need to be from the ghost or anything - totally unrelated. :) The ghost is just the fun first part (at least, I had fun rummaging through deceased horses looking for combinations I liked lol).

Mine would defiantly be from him as I have a grandson of this boy from a straw I had (yay A papered White Spotted chestnut ice colt).

He’s special as he’s the 5 millionth horse created in the game.

On the search under Lined & Foundation checkboxes is "Deceased" the default is unselected, so just check it and go!

What a fun contest!

My favourite horse is not dead yet, so it had to be this one.

I just recently became aware of the awesomness of dark horses with something colour on them, like Ice9 and satin. This one is not satin, but I love the colours on her.

My ghosty visitor would have to be this guy. He is a dream for both my warmblood (hom sooty to pair with my DP mares) and riding horse (champagne and kitM) lines. He would a super fun cross to a wide variety of my mares and has a ton of qualities I look for in a stud. Hes dreamy :X And it would be his dream to no longer be a gelding ;)

Okay.. what’s not to love about this guy? I breed for mostly warmbloods and i’d still choose this guy over anyone :)) homozygous S+, DP, and KP! The white 8 and appy are just cherries on top. This beautiful boy would give me some lovely babies even with my pearl mares because he’s het for pearl.

If I could choose from any, this ghost I would gladly throw every foundation mare that didn't have spots at him. I did get the chance to breed to him and have some of his foals, and mourned his passing. He is still within the barns, in my stride to make sure that all my mares were at their peak I whoops and cut his offsprings breeding short and now she's gone ... arg... hindsight and all that. Even though he's a pony, he is still my fav and I have tried to recreate him a couple of times.

I sometimes think that with the intro of all the totally awesome fantasy genes, DP, and the lowering of the satin price; that the simple guys get over looked, but I love simple. With all the work that Ammit has put into the image gens, especially with the new frame maybe some of that simple love will rise to the top. You can take the simple and breed into the stunning or usual ... that's what I love about them.

I would love this girl to visit my pastures <3. I absolutely love the look of ice genes on dark horses (I need to buy the restricted ice genes 0-0) and I'm currently breeding chinchilla so I always need more chinchilla babies. The look reminds me of a dark cold winter though.

My wish is that this girl would come back to my barn... She's a hidden gates which is one of my favorite rank specials, she's given me a bunch of babies with A Star To Follow (which is my favorite stallion ever!) I gave away her last egg I had as a thank you and while I do not regret doing so, I'm missing this girl terribly!

I forgot to log in for a while in college and lost all my horses. Socorro was one of the first 10 original W4 (now Kit M) horses in the game and I miss his lines to this day!
