The new frame gene generation has rolled out this morning. There will most likely be some tweaks to be made still but I am pretty happy with how the generation came out. I'd love it if folks would share what their horses look like after refreshing. Bonus points if you make a before and after comparison.

As I warned folks in the other posts changes may be DRASTIC. That is because frame has changed from subtractive art to more appropriate and realistic additive art. If you are worried about losing a favorite image be sure to save it.

You just hit the little icon under the picture, it refreshes the image without a reroll. It looks like 2 arrows in the shape of a circle.

The first horse I created from my Homozygous Sooty Exceptionally Perfect HH today was a blue roan with some cool face and belly markings I had never seen before. At first I was confused, then figured that the new frame must have gone live:

I lost some of mine, but I’ve gained new ones, too!
This gal was far from being a Medicine Hat before the new frame. But she had all the ingredients so I was excited about her because I could use her to work towards a liver Medicine Hat! And now she is one herself!!

This makes my goal of breeding dark bases + lots of white so much easier, too. I already have lots of frame, because I started with a Freaky Friday stallion.

I honestly can't bring myself to reroll most of my favourite frame horses, i love certain studs too much with their current portraits and the way kitm/w3 disappears a little bit now with the new frame makes me wanna keep them and not reroll them lol.

@AlloraKerrhy "Medicine hat" is a description for a pinto horse that is largely white except for a colored patch covering the top of the head and the ears. Sometimes they'll also have a "shield" on their flank or chest. According to some native american traditions (not sure which tribes), medicine hat horses were lucky or had supernatural powers. They usually have a couple of white patterns (tobiano, frame, and splash being the most common) to get that much white on them.
