The past few days have been very trying on my heart and my brain...
One of my Polish chicks was attacked by one of the other chickens and she passed away the other day, we closed on our dream house yesterday and the previous owners haven't gotten all of their things out and there is a lot of things that we need to do to the fields before we move the horses before the 1st, my truck's check engine light came on, my youngest daughter is sick and this morning my mom found my 16 year old cat had passed away in her sleep... Thankfully my boss let me leave work early to take her body to the vet's to be cremated...

So help me out please... I need a distraction...

What are some future genes you want to incorporate into your lines?

I'm sorry you're having a tough time. But I have to say that reading 'check engine light' made me smile - if you're a fan of Big Bang Theory you'll know why.

As to genes, I like Nexus and currently I am having a debate between my head and my heart over whether to spend some real cash on adding a strand or two to a horse (or two!) It's a bit difficult as I have to take into account the constantly changing exchange rate when deciding about spending money on the game. Other than that I have been trying to get some Ice 5 into horses by breeding to other people's stock and wondering whether to deliberately breed for frame now that Ammit has updated the images.

Let's hope things get better for you from now on.

I'd love to add some Nacre to my KitM horses (no license yet though :( ) And I also after a few straws from outside studs I found out I LOVE sooty Plus and want it on EVERYTHING haha. Maybe thinking of mushroom license and definitely more DP. I want a lot haha. One day.

I have had it rough the past couple weeks as well. I would love to add Satin into my DP line! And I'm really wanting to start all my fantasy licenses back up with DP as well I sent you a little something :x

As for future genes, I'm really culling my program to get rid of nearly all WB stock and focus exclusively on riding horses. I'm adding an entire liver pearl line in as well that will blend with my regular DP line.

The only genes I'm missing are Thunderstruck and Plaid (and Ice 4 but that one is impossible)... so ideally I'd love to add them to the roster to check them off. Someday!

I can definitely agree that this week has been trying, but I bet next week will start to look up! I had decided to limit myself on GMTing except to add hom pearl to my two future herdsires, but after seeing the fun new phantom genes that were released I’m thinking of making a little side project with them :)). I love Halloween so they are right up my alley! I’m still struggling to decide which patterns I like them best with though.

Other than that, I’ll be starting a black expro appy based line with a bit of watercolor, onyx, & pearl mixed in (and some other fun things lol) as soon as I put the finishing touches on my studs. My dream is to one day have a satin chinchilla line, but I definitely don’t have the real life funds for that currently.
