I am so sorry to here that! I know I have a few bad weeks too sometimes! I was diagnosed with Crohns and colitis disease two years ago and it wasn't much fun after that, it doesn't go away but it can be managed some what! I have been doing ok the last few weeks and take meds but its still not nice when it decides to flair up on me! I hope it will get better for you! If there isn't a cure then it can be managed maybe?



Wish I could send something to make everything ok but I do have some pretty horses to show off for you! This are my absolute favorites this season and last season!

@HorseAngel Oooh I LOVE KitM and Pearl lol and it takes anywhere from a couple of weeks to months to heal it just depends on the person since not much is know about what causes it They give you steroids and an antiviral medicine to help with the inflammation in the facial nerve. I just have to wait it out (which is completely unlike me =)) )

Thanks I LOVE Kit M and Pearl together too! I am trying to make it one of my breeding lines! Do you still want straws from my Gold Of The Sea?

Sorry to hear that; sounds miserable. Here is the foal from this month that I am irrationally pleased with. My new project is G8 DP, and this is the best of my first round.

Getting that new chinchilla stud has totally revived my love for that line! He'll be getting a good work out with some black silver mares next season. I've got two black Hom sooty exceptional perfect mares I'm thinking about adjusting slightly just for him. My liver line is definitely a favorite. It has started to take preference over my other lines. I spend more time looking at them than any other horses. :D

Well, he's not liver, but my new chinchilla is drool worthy.

Little update real quick I went back to the doctor today got 2 shots one 1 in each hip boy were those rough 1 starting my 2nd round of steroids and the other for pain. Keeping my fingers crossed for some improvement

@RutleedgeRanch I am sure I will have lots of questions at some point, but I have figured most of the stuff out, still trying to figure out the timing on some things and want to try out using the pastor but not sure how that works yet either. I do know I plan to stick with mostly drafts for breeding and all the others will be just for show I think.

Ew shots in the hip suck, in that general area in fact sucks, had to have a antibiotic and steroid shot mix one year on Christmas day, my asthma was so bad they were worried I was getting pneumonia. Those both went in my behind and I couldn't sit for a few days, I think the nurse took her anger out on me since she was working on Christmas day.... Here's to hoping the shots give you some relief. ♥

@RutledgeRanch My husband passed out after having an IV placed. He is covered in tattoos.... but regular needles scare him. He went to stand up and go to the bathroom after they placed the IV and 6 nurses, 2 security guards and a dr guided him to the floor. We were in the ER, he had some kinda stomach thing going on. Scared me half to death. And if your wondering why it took so many people to guide him down, he's a big guy, 6'4" tall and around 300lbs. Thankfully those nurses moved fast and caught him. I was no help, some reason I couldn't move. The only reason her passed out was from the needle according to the drs, nothing else seemed to have caused it.

@RutledgeRanch Pretty much how it went for my husband. Only he woke up on a hospital bed, very confused. I had to fill in the gaps for him, he was pretty embarrassed.

I finally finished GMTing this guy. Would've liked another copy of satin, but $20 each starts adding up oops :(

He already gave me two superior colts, just out of regular dark chestnut creates with no pasture bonus. So pretty thrilled about that! We'll see how they stack up to my other 2nd gens later, though.

PS: I get dizzy every time I get a shot, even though I'm not remotely scared of needles. It's some kind of reaction to the change of blood flow, or something? Like when you stand up suddenly. Scared the heck out of a nurse once!

@rutledgeRanch Wow, that's scary. I know lots of people with weird allergies tho, my husband is allergic to Bananas. I haven't never heard of anyone being allergic to bananas before but anything is possible I guess.

@sherwoodStables My heart stopped there for a moment, your horses are stunning. I can't wait to explore some more of the different patterning in this game, the new frames made me drool when I saw them.

@HowlingWoods now that's a first for me too lol although when I was little I knew a little girl who was allergic to water or maybe something in the water I can't remember exactly it's been so long she had to take milk oatmeal baths

I'm allergic to water. If I don't use Irish Spring when taking a bath, even if I don't use any soap, I'll break out in a very itchy rash.

@bluechrystals That's pretty crazy! So is it just a skin reaction? Or do you have issues drinking water as well? Really has to be a hard allergy to deal with.

Oh wow! I don't have any super weird allergies aside from sulfates in shampoos/soaps... but I did get Scarlet Fever 2 winters ago lol!

Yep, untreated strep leads to scarlet fever! It was awful.. I was 25 when I had it, ugh! And my husband was deployed at the time so I was all alone. Now I'm prone to bronchitis and last year I ended up with staph throat. Not fun!

Oh no! I feel ya, girl. I've had 3 bunionectomies in 18 months. First one on my right foot totally failed due to surgical error, just had the revision and although it's so much better, I have permanent nerve damage from the last surgeon. So if you ever need someone to vent to about this kind of stuff, I'm here and get it LOL
