Aw man I was literally going through the horses and picked speckled mayhem first but wanted to go through them all before posting :( he’s beautiful Blu!

Oh, if they'll make decent show ponies and no one wants them for breeders they'll get snipped and put in the show barn. A lot of these are like that! I'll get those ones up for you guys later, I gotta actually go work at work :-))

Do you have an issue with how they're bred after they're bought? I have a few of the foals I like, but I'm not sure if I'll be breeding them even or not.

Oh, they're gorgeous! Someday I'm gonna get to the point where I can buy tokens and GMT on things they miss like that more often, but I still have to be stingy lol.

Oh, I'm a few classes from a bio degree, I'm well aware that pretty much every parasite that can kill you or trash your lungs in confusion because you're the wrong species and it doesn't know what else to do lives in a fish at some point. However, sushi isn't actually all raw fish, there's a lot that's cooked fish or something else entirely. And the saltwater fish used are less likely to have parasites than freshwater. I maybe do one raw fish thing every time we go, but mostly it's cooked fish or crab, fried rolls, and vegetarian ones. We've gone several times and not eaten raw fish at all.
Dang, now I'm craving cucumber and avocado rolls...

Eh. I don't know whether it's that I've learned (and then mostly forgot, tbh) enough about it that I've come out the other side, or that it's pretty low on the Scale of Bad Ideas, but that kind of thing doesn't really register to me anymore.
If you're ever in Minnesota, lol, I'll take you for cheap non-fish sushi ;)

A horse vet I used to know liked to say that all animals have parasites, it's just a question of 'how many' :))
Yeah, I grew up in a similar environment. Between that, and we raised all our own meat, and the fact that my mom was in food service management, I learned all about hand washing very early!
The one I do struggle with is chicken. If chicken hasn't been cooked thoroughly, and temped to confirm it, I have a problem lol.
