I lost my 5 year old German Shepherd yesterday and I'm an absolute mess. We have no human kids so she was absolutely our child and we lost her way too soon to an aggressive form of cancer. I'm grieving and really struggling, so I wanted to try something different and focus on the good in the world instead of questioning why these horrible things happen.
I'd like everyone to nominate a player that has helped them in some way - big, small, it doesn't matter. Any act of kindness can greatly impact a person and I want to focus on that here.
You can write a few sentences or paragraphs, whatever you feel like talking about. I will try to find something to send to every person nominated. :)
EDIT: Feel free to also gift the nominees as they come up! I’d love for everyone to receive gifts and be kind. :)Post edited by SharayahStables at 2019-11-01 21:28:05 -
I love this idea but I am so sorry for your loss :((
I would love to send you something on the first when my new boy comes of age! You've helped get quality into my lines and since day one that I started playing this game, I've always admired your horses! But since this is your post, it's a little hard to nominate you lolThanked by 1SharayahStables -
I'm so sorry about your pupper baby! It's so hard to lose them!
I figure if I respond real quick I can be the one to nominate blu! @bluchrystals helps pretty much everybody, lol. For an example, one time she offered me straws from one of her studs, just after she finished GMTing him, and I said I'd love some but had negative hbs because of pasture breeding and couldn't, so she sent me both free straws and enough hbs to get out of the hole and then use them!Spiderweb Stables

The same player can be nominated more than once! They’ll just get extra goodies :)

Me and my parents and little brother had gone out to eat one night to a restraunt. My father is prior military and someone noticed (he always wears his hat), we were finishing dinner and our server came up to us and handed us our money back and our bill. She told us "a couple has paid for your meal in recognition for your military service" we just looked around and were confused but thankful. My chicken sandwhich ended up being raw so I got a free red velvet milkshake.

So sorry to hear that! I have two dog's myself, a Husky-Healer mix Lab who's 9 years old and a Australian Shepherd mix who's either 4 or 5 years old (she was a pound puppy so nobody knows, she was still a puppy/ teen when we got her and it was obvious she was born as a stray). I can't imagine losing either one at 5 years...I'd be devastated. I do know though how it feels to lose a loved one to cancer. It hurts so so much. Even when you know and said your goodbyes and tried to prepare for the loss, in the end, it hurts just as much as if you never did any of those things. I will say though, a few thing's that helped me was just talking to my mom and taking some alone time to weep. I still do to this day, cause it's okay and best you do to keep your brain from frying and from keeping all your emotions bottled up. It basically is the best therapy as far as I know. Yes my mom has made me get therapy. None worked though, if anything it just gave me anxiety which is bizarre. I don't get anxiety, (except on an awesome really big rollercoaster cause it's just how it works, lol) I think the only time I've ever gotten anxiety was when a family member was in harm's way. But yea, grieving alone or with somebody and talking to family really was my therapy. Sending hugs and delicious feel good food your way.♥️
Now onto what you asked for.
This is my new boy 13 Friday's. He is Het for Bats and ghosts! I originally planned of getting 1 strand of bats for him for 300k. Instead @Nikkel666 put on bats AND ghosts all for 300k! Insane! That's a 300k steal! And the crazy part is, @Nikkel666 mentioned out of the blue adding another strand to make him Hom for the 300k! I said I was planning on waiting to get 300k again to add ghosts. And well, you know the rest! Well enough of that, here he is!
13 Fridays
For anyone wondering here's the original post!

I'm so sorry for your loss. Dogs aren't our whole life but they make our life whole and I'm so sorry she was taken so young. I'll be thinking of you.
Everyone on here is so great and generous! From advice and sending gifts to giveaways! I appreciate everyone and there's so many I could name! I nominate @natalya1917 also because she sent me a mushroom straw at pull price to celebrate my first gene license.Licensed in chinchilla, mushroom & splash M -
I know I've said this multiple times, Sharayah, but I am so sorry for your loss. I'd give you the biggest hug possible if I could!
I've met so many wonderful players on this game that are extremely helpful, but I would say a few that I can think of off the top of my head would ofcourse be Sharayah Stables, not only because you've been so helpful to me personally, but because you're always trying to come up with new ideas to keep the forums exciting with different games, positive vibes, etc. Also to mention you have amazing horses, and I am extremely jealous of your projects you have! The bling hurts my eyeballs sometimes, but in a good way. lmao.
Three more people I'd love to nominate, even though I think we are only supposed to pick one, would be @natalya1917 - Not only because shes also a minnesotan like myself lol, but due to her helping me get satin on my newest project boy! Shes a very nice person and I can clearly see she loves to help other people here aswell!
@SilverCreekFarm - Also for helping me out a ton with adding a copy of satin onto my newest foundation boy. Not to mention she has been one of my idols on this game for her projects / other horses she has on here! Shes a very knowledgeable player!
Third but not last, @bluchrystals - She is also another player that is SUPER helpful when someone has questions, or they just need a little extra to finish off a project they have, whether its GMT work or needing extra HBs, I've seen her pitching in and helping people when they need it (including myself which I am very very thankful for!)
Bottom line, I am SO grateful to be this addicted to a game with so many awesome players. And thank you @Ammit for creating HuntAndJump and giving us all this amazing opportunity.

I agree with lethalximpulse, so many wonderful and awesome players here there's not just one! I am very sorry for your loss. I lossed my English Springer to cancer a few years ago too.
I would like to nominate three here if that is ok!
@Natalya1917- I know she has already been nominated a few times but she is the absolute best player and a great friend too! She has been there to help me with my leopard line to many times to count!
@RutledgeRanch- has been a great help to me with all the straws they have sent to me for free! Also has been going through some tough times so l think they deserve to be nominated!
@Wolvevenfrost- has helped me get enough IVs for the Long And Luscious tack pack for the first time (was very recently) was just an awesome thing to do and I didn't even ask for it! Thank you so much!

I think I have sent something to everyone who has been nominated so far! To spread the positivity, people are also more than welcome to gift fellow nominees as a thank you too. I just want this post to be all about giving and kindness. <3

Thank you! I didn't expect anything for what I've done..but I appreciate it! Especially as I love Sharayah's horses. :D

I’m sorry about your Pup :(
I’d like to nominate @bluchrystals, she GMTd my best stallion with real money as a surprise for me.
And @nikkel666, she buys stock from me all the time to support my need for IVs/GMTsLicensed for Onyx, Watercolor, Plaid, Mushroom, Splash M, Phantom Autumn, Ice 4, Ice 16, and Chinchilla - ID: 256300 -
I'm so sorry for your loss, and I hope the distraction is helpful at least a little.
I'd like to nominate Master StablesMS - for how in depth their answers to questions usually are. I've learned so much reading their posts, just as I curiously browsed through stuff.ID 252818 | Breeding for TE livers, with satin hopefully -
@Natalya1917 - True, but still! You surprised me by doing it :)Previously known as "lethalximpulse".Thanked by 1Taliesin

I am sorry for your loss. It's hard to loose a companion.
I have rapid cycling bipolar 1. It makes life difficult at times. This last couple years with different meds and doctors, diagnosis and misdiagnosis has been crazy. Some days it doesnt feel worth it. But I know it is. This game is my retreat. I spend way to much money in manic episodes and cry over spelded horses in depression. The people here are all wonderful. Every one is so helping and caring to every one else. It's a nice change.
I nominate nikkel666. Shes helped me alot in the game. She had a horse custom made for me and in my forum lurking I have seen shes made alot of other people happy with gifts of genes and such.

I am so sorry for your loss, it is so hard to loose something you love and cherish so much! I like to think that the animals I cherished so much while they were here are now once again young and are running through wide, open green fields! =((
First is @bluchrystals she does so much for everyone in the game and last night she offered to buy me chinchilla for free. This brought me to tears as I do not have a lot and I still cant believe how amazingly kind she is!
Second is @SilverCreekFarm, from day one she had been one of my greatest idols in the game. She has amazing horses and has sold me some horses that I never in a million years thought I would be lucky enough to own! She is also so very patient with players such as myself that do not quite have everything figured out!
Overall everyone on this game is beyond amazing and I am so grateful for @Ammit for keeping the game amazing and for everything else she does! I love that in real life I may not be able to develop lines and own horses of my dreams but I can using this amazing game! -
I am so sorry to hear about your dog. I have a three year old Doberman, well known for their numerous serious health issues. And I've been trying to get accept that one day she might be running and playing, and fall over dead due to heart issues. But even thinking about that possibility absolutely destroys me. I do have a daughter, so I don't necessarily consider Mabel my child. But she is without a doubt my best friend and grounding force. I don't even know how many times I've been ready to relapse into drug use if it wasn't for this dog. I know there is nothing I, nor anyone else, could say to ease the pain, but I hope that knowing there are many people who care brings you at least a little comfort.
As for your request, I have been helped in many ways, by many people in my short time playing this game. And I am constantly in awe of the generosity and compassion that everyone shows each other. I will need to take some time to give you my submissions later this evening once I'm off work. -
@Herzeloyde
So sorry to hear about your pup! I lost my sweet girl about a month ago, also to cancer. I still keep glancing at her bed every time I walk through the living room :( It's gotten better, but still tough. I'm sure your doggo had a great life with you. Hope you feel better soon! -
I’ll be sending more gifts out shortly. I’m trying to do one per each nomination :) Could be hb’s, eggs, straws, etc!
-
I’m so sorry to hear about your pup!
So many people (including yourself!) in this game have been amazing to me, and my nomination is for @HayesStable, who GMTed an awesome foundation stud for my line long before I ever got my first token, just so I’d have the perfect sire for my new foals.Post edited by LenasHollywood at 2019-10-30 16:03:36 -
Everyone should have received something from me.
I truly appreciate the kind words - I am really struggling and it's nice to know others care, even without knowing me in real life. Thank you. <3 -
Sorry to hear about your pup. :( I lost my two back to back years right before Christmas. First my little buddy, then my ragamuffin princess. I lost her... 2? Years ago now? And there’s still a gaping hole because I can’t get another pet until... who knows when.
I’d also like to nominate @bluchystals because she gifted me with Onyx! She’s super generous, always helping everyone, and a good game friend in general. -
Oh no! I am so sorry to hear about your fur baby. I had to put my old man down in February and it still hits me very hard. ((hugs))
-
Thank you @paradoxphoenix and @paintedponies. It was just so sudden and she was so young. We're really struggling.. she was our world, it just doesn't seem real.
-
Feel free to keep nominating! Small and large acts of kindness - all are appreciated and deserve to be rewarded! I love you guys. <3
-
Wow! Thank you so much for nominating me, I was super happy when I woke up this morning to surprise straws (*)
Can't wait to use them in a few days!
I nominate @TawnyEclipse and @Vella for the fun contests they create -
And also @Pagan, for all her positivityThanked by 1SharayahStables

@TawnyEclipse, @Vella, and @Pagan should all have something waiting for pick up!
If I missed anyone, please let me know. It’s not intentional, I’ve just had a very hard past couple weeks. -
So so sorry to hear about your fur baby :( I had to give my boy a big hug. Losing a pet is the worst thing in the world but I’m sure your girl will be waiting for you across the rainbow bridge. I wish I knew more of what to say to help you feel better. You are one of the nicest and most helpful people I’ve seen in this game. I’m going to send you something after rollover as well.
I’d like to nominate @bluegrass26, @LCorona001, and @wolvevenfrost. I’m so glad I could help y’all out and make you happy :) seeing you guys’ posts super surprised me -

I just wanted to say I am so sorry to hear about your baby. Are pets do become part of our family and always hold a special place in our hearts.
My nomination is for @SheebaArab for helping me get started buy buying some horses for top dollar.
The purchases really got me up and running in this game and was my first interaction with this great community of people.
-
@HorseAngel I think we all know it's bad when I forget that I did that, omg lol. That now has made me realize that I'm getting a good amount of hbs coming in to do and forget this kind of stuff. =))
Well then, it really was nothing though. I remember seeing horses everyday having the amazing hair and I was so sad I didn't have it. When I did finally get it it was the best thing ever. I'm pretty sure it's my most used tack pack to this day and it's my favorite. I'm just glad you love it and are happy!♥️
@Nikkel666 awww. Really buddy you deserve it! You help so many people it's amazing! Wish I could do it!
13 Friday's is litterally EVERYTHING now though (and my #1 favorite stud)! Getting rid of a lot of favorite studs and mares to make room for his future babies! Can't wait!Post edited by Wolvevenfrost at 2019-10-31 22:05:18 -
I nominate Taliesin, because they are just purely awesome. :)

I am so sorry for your loss. Cancer is evil and rips them away from us too soon. I lost my cat to Lymphoma this year and it devastated me. I think it is terrible you are going through this.
I started this game on the 29th and have already met some wonderful people.
SandyCreekAcres gifted me with three show horses right out of the gate and answered questions.
ZTCreek has been fabulous in new player lounge by answering my litany of questions about breeding.
I'm so looking forward to being here long enough that I have something worthwhile to give in the Pay it Forward posts because everyone here has been great so far.
-
Okay, everyone who was nominated should have received something. I'm going to close this now, but I welcome others to come up with similar threads to continue to spread love and kindness. :x
Thank you to everyone for the kind words, I truly appreciate them. Losing Kiowa has left me with a HUGE hole in my heart. She was my soul dog - and still is. We were so bonded, especially while my husband was away with the Army a lot. From symptoms to when she passed was only a period of 2-3 weeks, so I'm still in shock. I'm very thankful to have had this community to distract me these past few days.Thanked by 1Vella
