This season I was lucky enough to get several pearl/pearl carrier colts and I don’t know if I should a) GMT them to mares (if I can save enough) or b) sell them. Plus all of them are HET or HOM KP. 2 of them are HOM and 2 are HET. Thoughts?

I’m thinking I’m definitely keeping the last colt. Maybe the last 3? I’m not sure. If anyone would like the first colt, I would consider selling him :)

Are they on level with your other studs? The only colts I change are either high papers or packed with genes.

I’m just starting to breed for pearl. That’s why I would change them. More pearl mares is always helpful

Yes, more of the genes is always helpful, but if they're not at a certain level themselves they won't help the quality of the herd.

Yes my 2gs are to be red or blue, b or a. Of course the latter preferred

Honestly I never switch stallions to mares. There’s always next season. If your just starting to breed for them there will be lots of opportunities in the future.

Or if you really want to switch them I would wait until they are older to see what you get in the next few seasons. Much cheaper to wait and see then change them and find you get better ones sooner or later.
