Postcards for GMTs!

One of Haystack and my FAVORITE traditions is Postcards for GMTs. Our wonderful members send us postcards/cards/letters/gifts from all over the world. In exchange we send them all back thank yous in the form of a gene modification token. It's so much fun seeing the cards come in from all over and we love putting them up around our home each year.

Be sure to include your user name and id (with server number) so we know who to send a thank you GMT to. You do not have to include your real name if you do not wish.

Yay - I love sending you a card. I was only thinking about this yesterday and wondering if you would do it again. My local post office is going to close in two weeks, so I need to get something to you right away.

By the way, who is Princess Flufflepuff? Have I missed something? Only, you know I like to knit. ;))

Eh. I want to send the postcard...but I live in Poland. I don't know how much does sending a postcard to the US cost, but who knows, who knows, maybe I'll send it :-?

@Azedah We have members who send from the EU, Nordic countries etc every year. I bet one of them could give an estimate

@Kat8805 I really need to head down to Santa Claus at somepoint. It sounds like fun. Have to take Fluffles next year if nothing else :D Hay and I were married at French Lick so it would be a good opportunity to go back.

Oh nice! We were down at Santa's Lodge, for a our first work Christmas party ever, last night. We're officially adulting :-)) It's a pretty cool area. French Lick sounds gorgeous for a wedding!

I think that sending postcards for people from other countries is nice idea. I'll send one.
And as this year is ending soon... thank you, Ammit, for all those events during this year! I registered here about three months ago, but I think that HAJ is very nice game.

And I have a small question: can we include two usernames: from HAJ and HAJ2?

@Azadeh, I live in the Netherlands and last year was the first year I participated in this. I wasn't sure at first if it was even possible or not, but I searched a little about it on the website of our national postservice and it was easier than I thought. All I had to do is buy some special international stamps. I don't remember exactly how mucht they'd cost me but it wasn't too expensive. All I had to do next was pick a card (couldn't choose so I sent two :p), put on the international stamp and the right adress and that was that! I don't really know how the postal service works in your country though, but I think it isn't that different though.
Hope I'll can find another nice card to send!

I have never done this but would like to. what does it mean id (with server number) I know my id # but what about the server #?

The server number would either be HJ1 or HJ2, depending on whether you play on HuntAndJump 1 or HuntandJump 2 (this one is HJ1).

AppleRunStables, I know that this one is HAJ1. But what if someone play on both servers?
Could someone make me sure? :)

I have accounts on both servers. This is HJ1, that's HJ2. It's really just to make sure the GMTs go to the right account, since that one starts all over again with account numbers (and Ammit doesn't want to have to guess which one to send things to).

I'm sure she has gotten them, just hasn't gotten around to posting, she's been very busy trying to get the sales and fun out to us and she still has to take it easy

I have stacks of postcards :) Once I get a chance I will sit down and go through all of them and share. Right now taking care of Princess Flufflepuff takes 8 hours everyday where I can't work so it is making it pretty tough to get caught up.

If you send something now you won't make the sharing post but anyone can send me stuff to the PO box year round you never have to wait for a certain time.

@Ammit, I have a question. Could we include our IDs both from HAJ and HAJ2? I'm asking 'cause I didn't include my HAJ2 ID number and I want to know what I can do and can I do this.

You can include 50 ids if you want but you only get one GMT for a card.
