I've heard that it's way cheaper to buy a barn with irl money, but I don't have any to spend on games. is it possible to have someone else buy a barn for me, or something? and would this be against the rules? I don't know what I'm doing really, so any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Yes, I'm almost positive you can have another player buy a barn for you. Usually, the asking rate is 100,000hb for every $1. So it is not against the rules! The community is so great here there are so many helpful people who are so willing to help!

How much does a new barn cost?

It depends on what size. I'm pretty sure a 15 stall barn that holds 15 horses is $5 but the barn sizes go all the way up to 1000 so it depends on what you need and can afford
