Debating on changing my username..
-
When I joined this game years ago, the username "Lethal impulse" was just kind of something random I made up.. and now I really dont like it at all lol. I want to change it but I have no idea what so ever on what to switch it to. Where do you guys get inspiration for names, whether it's for a username or even naming horses ?Previously known as "lethalximpulse".

Mine is where I used to live during a time in my life that gave me a lot of life experience. It helps remind me of those times.
-
Mine is in reference to where I live now! St. Louis is at the confluence of the Missouri and Mississippi rivers.

Oh man, for months now I've been going "Current or squid... current or squid..."
I wish I could contribute something more helpful, but my username choices have kinda been shaped around gender identity stuff and trying to find a new name for a bit, and my horse names come from everywhereSpiderweb Stables

Mine is from the medieval romance of Parzifal. It has stayed with me since 2001, when I first joined a Tolkien forum. My account was hacked, and I had to change user name. We were reading Parzifal at school, and I thought "Herzeloyde" sounded cool.
The meaning behind the name in middle high german is quite sad, it means "heart's sorrow". In the poem, she dies from a broken heart when her son, Parzifal, leaves her to become a knight.
That part does not suit me well, I am usually a very happy person. But I liked how the name sounds, and since people began to recognise me by the user name, It stayed with me.Post edited by Herzeloyde at 2019-11-28 17:50:28 -
Mine is my Instagram handle which is named after my dog.
I do not have real life horses but my names for horses in the game come from everywhere but most commonly song lyrics and punsLicensed in chinchilla, mushroom & splash M -
My Myers Briggs personality profile is INFJ. We are sometimes referred to as “paradoxes.” And I identify with the symbolism of rebirth from the Phoenix.Thanked by 1Herzeloyde

Cool! I am also an INFJ :)

Thank you everyone !!! Its very interesting to hear where everyone got their usernames from. :)Previously known as "lethalximpulse".

My username is a nick name my husband gave me because I hit 3 deer in 1 month (2 lived thankfully)..
So it just became an inside joke for everyone.. "Watch out Bambi! Here comes Tiffany!" 8-|
I would like to change my name and get rid of the 207.. it's my husband's birthday that just kind of stuck with everything I've made for the last 5 years.. my ex-husband use to hack my accounts no matter what I used until my husband told me to use his birthday since my ex didn't know it and *BAM* no more lost accounts :))
My horses names come from whatever is running through my ever wandering mind.. typically 1 word names.. some are people names that I've always loved, some are the genes they carry, some are lyrics, some are in memory of and some are what the horse looks like.. it's a little all over the place and there's no real organisation to it lol -
My real-life name means "Crowned One", so I've used Crowned1 as a screenname ever since the good ol' days of AOL IM. My faith is very important to me, which gives my name a deeper significance as a reminder to me that I am oved and adopted as a child of the High King of universe.
My horse names on here are a mixed bag of generic names I gave to my beloved childhood toy horses (I was a Grand Champions addict in the 90's -haha!), and names of real-life horses I've loved; references to books, songs, and bands I like; and puns that make me smile. On one of my secondary accounts most of my ponies have Scottish Gaelic names - I have Scottish heritage, so that's why I chose that language.Post edited by Crowned1 at 2019-11-29 07:51:32
