The embryos I’ll be creating tomorrow will have the opportunity to show either KP or GP if they carry it. If we have any little bit of luck at all.

Ditto, my first create was a gray stallion. My ghost is a chestnut mare with no sooty. If I add sorry would the DP theory be confirmed?

It's not DP - I'm not saying none will have it, but there are several homozygous sooty chestnuts that have been created.

Thinking way back, this was our two millionth horse and she was a GP carrier. Because she was ee aA, it took a while to figure out what the hidden gene was. For GP to express horses need to be at least Ee Aa (or A+ or At).

I don't think we have had a milestone horse that has had KP.

If anybody wants to test the GP and/or KP theory, I can help out as I have foundy studs who are homozygous for both.

Oooh. I have two eggs left I haven’t made into embryos yet. I could buy two of those double homozygous straws then use my remaining 2 GOCP straws on my Hom GP mares. That’ll up my odds of helping us find the hidden gene.

I looked and saw that there's a Ghost of Christmas Present, and a Ghost of Christmas Future of RS as well? Maybe if you breed any combo of them together you get something cool like the Trick or Treat RS :/

I added KP to my guy needed both copys so no hidden KP . maybe snowflake carrier. if someone has 10 gmts and has a bay they could add to see if it carries GP...

I added two copies of gp to mine as a test. He needed both.
When he was created he was a gorgeous dark chocolate color and I messed it up adding dp to him haha.

For gp to show it has to have two copies, right? I don't wanna have messed up and ruined the experiment haha! I think it showed white after I added one copy. It charged me for the two though so...

@quiet hollow - if the horse already had it, the gene mod lab would have given an error message when you tried to add it to the stand that it was already on. So they don't have GP if it charged you for both copies

I'm thinking they might be all different. I got a bay, added lp to him and didn't get a snowflake. But added 1 gp and he was het for that so now he's hom. Didn't try kp though

I'm kinda agreeing with @Jessj that they could all be different. Or maybe het for a lot of things but we'd have to cross them with the other ghosts to "unlock" them. It's good in theory and kinda makes it more exciting lol.
