I sent mine, but forgot to fill out my gene licenses for the first one! LOL.

@FlyingTurkeyFarm - that was my thought exactly. I've only been playing since mid-Sept so I have nowhere near 1mil to spend on a present. Heck, with all of the lovely other December festivities I'll be spending on, 10k will be generous for me to spend for gifts. Unless someone wants straws from the few good foundation studs I have, I'd don't think I'd do a good job of fulfilling someone's wishes. :(

I was wondering about the categories, too. I started playing last year in November so obviously I couldn’t afford to play last year. But everyone seemed to enjoy it so much that I was hoping to have my barn strong enough to afford to participate this year.

Now I’m not sure I can with the 1 million limit being the smallest. I’m not sure anything I have would do justice to the category.

@LCorona - I assume gifts valued at $5mill and up. Likely RL$ spending too but not required.

Im saving up money to buy GMT's to GMT a stud for my SS when we get them.

I had the same concern about the 1 Mill limit and only having a basic upgrade.

Still not sure if I will enter this year or just start saving now for next time around <3

How about a 250k goal? Just go with that and if you can give more, give more! But for now just set a small goal to reach. And don't EVER be afraid to ask for help! You be swarmed with love and help!

I didn't play last year cause I thought I was too small. I really wish I had just signed up. Gifts are readily available, and all the beautiful community spirit you see around here goes on overdrive. Come to the Santa side... We have ponies.

I have a question, what are suitable wishes to put on your wish list? Are things like barns, pastures, GMTs or HBs for IV (to maybe get a certain tack pack like the 1k and one nights) allowed for the under 1 mil or just horses? I'm not sure what I can put on mine for the group!

I normally don't do the Secret Santa entries, but I'm always willing to help with gifts and such.

I won't be participating this year, as I don't want to receive gifts, but I have signed up to be an elf, and am happy to help anyone find the perfect gifts. My barns are always open... just mind your step as they're a hot mess lol.

My ID is 213364, and while I am very behind on my tattoos/naming/sorting/testing, I will be working on that heavily in the coming weeks to make searching my barns easier.

@HorseAngel I have not thoroughly read this years rules, but in the past the first(lowest) bracket did not include real life $ being spent. Since Pastures, Barns, and GMTs directly would need to be purchased with real $, I would not say they would fit. However, it is fair to ask for gifted HBs to purchase IVs for purchasing GMTs and barns. Just keep in mind how quickly IV cost can add up if you have other requests. But also don't be afraid to list many things, as that gives your Santa lots of options.

As a big barn owner, I can honestly say the biggest disappointment comes when the horses gifted check more dislike boxes than like ones. Your effort is felt in your gifts, even if they aren't many, or if each isn't "expensive". I'd personally rather receive a handful, or even just one, perfect gift horse, than a million horses that don't fit my herd and won't get used. I have hated spaying and gelding horses that were gifted to me, that just won't work for my breeding, just to toss them into a show barn.

In general, I feel that it is always best to be as specific as you can be when it comes to your requests. If there are things you love, list them. If there are things you hate, list them. And as Santas, it's not too hard to abide by those wishes, as I guarantee the specific gene combinations asked for are out there... or can be created. Ask for help! This community is huge, and diverse, and so helpful. My daily payout goes unused 99% of the time right now, and the past few 27ths have come and gone with foals still left in my pastures... I promise that I am not the only big barn in this same situation lol. Let us be your mommy and daddy Warbucks!

Ashley, I wouldn't count me completely out as a Santa... I do come by my indecisiveness honestly.

But the offer always stands to help newer players hunt down what they need/want/can't live without. Even if it's just funding you need :-))

Wow, that would be awesome! Thats at least a 60 stall barn right? I will have to add that to my list (or better yet send it as a gift myself! Great Idea!)

If there's a way for me to do it too (without spending real money because I won't have any to spend until my birthday next year) please let me know!

@ConfluenceStable there’s a fantasy gene I want to buy if it comes out in the daily sales but I don’t currently own it, I want to enter ss now but the fantasy genes I have might change, can I edit it later or should I wait? Thanks

I currently have a hoard of RS horses that I plan on making available for SS purchases. I will also hold onto spare superior colts that I get just in case someone wants that gene combo. I am exciiiiteeeed.

@Xzeina, please sign up for SS, as others have said this is a seriously friendly and generous community. people will be more than happy to help out. Gifts need not be expensive, if you are talented you could make special tattoos or art for banners etc. You could collect pointed foundations or rank specials.

How do you anonymously send gifts to your ss?
