I just figured out what the secret is! Had a hunch based off the Ghost of Christmas Past and I was correct :D Here is my gal that was supposed to be a yearling but i was too excited to test my theory that i got clicky happy lol

Can someone pm me with the hidden genes? I tried to see if they're in the breeders clubs for gp and kp and neither showed as eligible (yes they are colour tested)

@truenorth they aren’t showing up in the breeder clubs because they are only het, and need to be hz. Click on my horse above, you’ll see what they are :-)

@ TrueNorth to be eligible for those clubs, they have to be homozygous and show the gene. Snowflake is another hidden gene that's the same way. The Christmas ghosts are only heterozygous, so will not display the traits and aren't eligible to be entered into the clubs. Those hidden alleles are genetic ghosts that require the right pairing and a bit of luck to discover (or some Gene mods :-)) )

GP needs to be homozygous and the horse needs to be a bay to express the trait.

KP needs to be homozygous and the horse needs to have two kit genes to express the trait.

Snowflake needs to be homozygous and the horse needs to have LP to express the trait.

For example: My Ghost of Christmas Past mare is an ee Aa chestnut, so unless I breed her to a black or bay based stallion who also carries gp, I'll never see gp foals.
