He has E, making him black, so you won’t be able to see DP if it’s there. It is 50% possible he inherited from his sire.

You can definitely see DP on brown horses. I don’t know if he has it, but they do change with DP.Licensed for Onyx, Watercolor, Plaid, Mushroom, Splash M, Phantom Autumn, Ice 4, Ice 16, and Chinchilla - ID: 256300

This lady is hom DP Brown, with pretty similar genetics to your guy for reference. I still can't tell if your boy is het or not :/

He's not DP..
The Agouti part of him (face and belly) would be darker if he was..
This is a Hom DP Brown stallion I bred.. both parents are modified Cherry Drops from my Cherry Drop project...

This is a Het DP filly I also bred who's father is the same as Ozarks' but her mom was a het DP Liver Chestnut.. she missed her mom's DP

This is a normal non DP Brown...

It's hard to tell since he's still a baby and it looks like he resembles the het DP Brown but when he gets older, his belly brown will look like the non DP Brown
