It can be SO easy to get excited, and caught up in the fun, that we forget to be grateful for the effort that has gone into finding, acquiring, and sending gifts.
Remember to say THANK YOU for ANY gift, and, for that matter for the thought, because that counts for SO much!

You don't need to go bouncing of the walls yelling Thank you at everyone. (Although those people are fun to watch!) But a simple thanks and a brief brag about what was gifted to you ALSO goes a long way!

So I want to say THANK YOU to everyone here! If you entered SS or not, you have contributed to this amazing community, and your presence is known and so very welcome!!!!!

Lets use this thread as a thank you/brag thread. I hereby authorize the use of up to FIVE exclamation points!!!!! (but ONLY on this thread!)

I’ve gotten some lovely straws so far!

I got some from this lovely GMT’d Rhythm of Four. Extra special since my RoF is 17 now. The foals I get will be a lovely addition to my GP/nd1 line!

Not at all! Technically, the Secret Santa post says start sending gifts AFTER December 20th, so that would be tomorrow. I could see how in the excitement of it all that some people interpreted today as the start of gifting.

I’m excited for all of the straws and eggs I’ve received so far! I’m done breeding for December and everyone is in pastures working on their pasture bonus so I think I’m going to take February as a big AI month and use a bunch of straws. Excited to see what I get for my lines! Everyone is so incredibly generous during this time and it’s amazing! Thank you everyone!

I haven’t gotten anything yet, but my SS could be in the same boat as me and be out of town with family! :) Regardless, I’m grateful for any time they put into SS! I’ve anonymously added some genes to my SS’s horse and have another project I’m working on in my barn. :D

And a gigantic, massive, heartfelt thank you to @bluchrystals for this present that just about made me cry!

I'm going to do something a bit different and thank all the people who helped me collect gifts for my SS giftee.

I lack a lot of licensed genes & relied heavily on the generosity of several other forum members who let me wander happily through their barns and handpick some goodies. These kind souls have also offered to send these gifts onto my person.

I also have two new little pastures. Which will be awesomely helpful as my breeding herd keeps growing. I’m going to do some reorganization to make breeding seasons easier and accommodate.....

Between my Secret Santa (whoever you are! can't wait to thank you proper!) and the Yule Lasses I have absolutely been overwhelmed by the goodies that have come my way. I've had a boatload of some of my favorite RS's sent my way, so many that my barns started overflowing. Thankfully, I've also been sent HBs so I could upgrade those barns and get some new stalls to house the new beauties in! My freezer is also full with a bunch of new straws, so I can't wait to get some fresh blood in my lines and experiment with new crosses and new genes.

I also want to express my gratitude to those who have helped me send gifts to my SS recipient when I didn't have the right gene or when if I wanted to stay secret just a little longer. It's also warmed my heart to have so many people ask me for straws from my stallions and be able to send them out to others' SS recipients. Just a heartwarming season of giving all around! I've got my gifts left for my SS and am spreading them out over the weekend to make the most of it :D

Here is just a small sampling of all of the wonderful things I have been gifted. Huge thank you to everyone involved! As always, surprised and grateful for this community!!

I want to say thank you to all the community as a whole.

I woke up with a migraine and after I moved my dog and I from my house to my moms couch I filled in my spreadsheet to see what bracket needed to be beefed up with some extra gifts. But the responses from everyone has been awesome and I think I’m pretty much ready to call my shopping done on this server. I have a few more horses I’m finishing sprucing up and fill up the buddy chats so o just have to unlock the barn doors on Christmas Eve but I’m happy with what I’ve collected and I’ve got a few really nice mares and straws from my SS

Thank you to my secret Santa and to the Yule lasses! I was very spoiled! I received so many cool straws and eggs to use as well as well as horses, a pasture, and Hb’s. I had so so much fun logging into my account each time and seeing what was there. I really hope that my SS enjoyed their gifts!
