Just got this boy this morning, could not be happier with him! My first hom Satin foal, A papered, and KP! I was shocked when he showed up with KP, as his dad is only het KP and mamma doesn't appear to have it anywhere in her lines.

Whoops! Thanks I didn't go back that far for some reason while I was looking for it lol. Still an unexpected surprise because I wasn't paying attention! Even as I was typing it, I was thinking gosh I'm gonna look like a dummy! That's not possible, the dam has to have it somewhere...

Wow you guys, so many gorgeous munchkins this season! Some of these made me stop and stare. I might have to go back through and @ all those ones when I'm feeling up to it!
@ztcreek, you're welcome, but I totally took the idea straight from LOF, so I can't take credit!
So this season I put a lot of second gens with a lot of different genes all in two pastures (one A/Blue, one B/Red) and crossed them all with a few of my favorite gene-rich gen 2 boys and just saw what happened! I got some real nice ones! Here's some favorite 3rd gens from that experiment that met my quality standards (superior colts, paper A/Blue at gen 3):

I also lost a couple from her and Jack to lethal whites, which is sad because their babies are gorgeous when they survive. One of theirs from last season might be my new favorite gen 2 stud.
