What is Liver?

    Hey guys, trying to figure out exactly what the color liver means. Does it have anything to do with DP? Trying to figure out the exact genes of my new mare below, any help is appreciated

    Liver is 3+ darkening genes. Either (2 DP and 1 Sty) or (2 sty and 1 DP)

    2 DP and 2 Sty they will be a black liver and be much darker almost black
    Breeding even generation Grullos with KP, Axiom RBG & Wrong Warp, Chinnchilla, Onyx, Phantom Autumn, Bats, Ghosts, Pumpkins, Skulls & Spiders, Plaid, Watercolour genes

    Thanks @HelenofTroy I look back at that a lot myself, but I still have trouble. I don't breed for DP but I know I have some floating around in my lines, so when I try to identify it when I can to remove confusion and help with sales
