I've been collecting foundie champagnes, thinking of using them for a project if I find some I like or whatever, I today I decided "why don't I try to get a gold champagne boy to use on my mares." exceptional producing champagne ...

my prospected caused Dorris to "faint dead away." He got a 0.2 and he's Inconsistent...I think my lowest score before this was ~6. WOW!
Poor guy was kinda pretty too LOL...

Even though his PT score is dismal and he won't show well, he will pass breeding advice and breeding inspection will test him as red papered. Showing ability isn't directly linked to breeding ability. Unless you're only wanting stallions who have both high breeding ability and showing ability, he has the potential to produce nice foals.

Statically, he'll be just as good a sire as any other ExPro, and his foals' pt scores will reflect that, not his own pt. The only real detractor is the inconsistent.
If you leave him in the auction I'm totally gonna buy him, he's hom PATN1 and I'm kinda suspecting DP

He looks pretty dark to me, for a gold. I'm not the best at that though. @bluchrystals, care to weight in?

I mean he does have double sooty. i don't know enough to know if they have a different name if its champagne on liver though?

He may have DP, as he is awful dark, but it's difficult to see if he has the dapples because of his frame.

He's exceptional producing, so he's certainly a stallion prospect if you like his colour! PT is completely unrelated to breeding ability in foundation horses
