    Hi everyone! I’m doing some planning for next breeding season. I’m going to be using this guy as my pasture stallion because I know he is safe with every mare.

    He is an exceptional producer, but because his genetics are so simple, I’m having trouble deciding what types of mares I want to pasture with him. I’ve thought of using him to give some heavier bone to mares lighter than 1.00. I’ve also thought of using mares with PATN1 since he doesn’t have that. What do you guys think? There is so much I can do with him that I can’t decide! Thank you!

    Either of those would work. If you wanted foals with flashier patterns, you could put him with mares that carry splash or some of the Kit mutations, especially if they had higher white factor.
