I have officially lost both my jobs... Need support
-
Well, as of today i have officially lost both of my part time jobs for an indefinite amount of time. I will be applying for unemployment tomorrow. I am so anxious and upset about this whole situation. I am worried about being able to feed my animals. My state is going into Shelter in Place/lock down at midnight tonight. My sister brought her two horses and her dog home from Kentucky last night and my horse came home earlier this afternoon. We are getting hay tonight and then my sister and i will go get whatever feed we may need for the animals that we can afford (I also have three dogs, a goat, and a rabbit to feed. My dad helps with the dogs since one is a family dog and one is partly his dog) :( I just don't know how i will afford all of it. I owe my dad $203 for my horse's vet bill today and i have to pay student loans on the 1st. I am so stressed out I wanna cry.
Unfortunately I am probably gonna have to put off and maybe sell my last two GMT/RGS projects on here because i don't know when i will ever be able to finish them. I managed to spare $5 to finish one project but i can't spend anything more. I may even have to stop my premium upgrade indefinitely.
The only good thing right now is that my horse is finally home (went to my friend's house last November for the winter) and now I can go ride every day. And my sister is home with her horses so i will have someone to ride with again. At least for a little while.
So tell me a funny story or tell me about your favorite pixel pony. Something to distract me from the next 3 weeks of state-wide isolation and my stress/anxiety...Post edited by HayesStable at 2020-03-23 18:08:39Bluegrass Server: HayesStable - 221755

Two simple silly stories with two pictures and both are related to my dog, Koto. I hope they bring you at least a smile.
After a long day's work, I like to give my dog a PupCup, which is a small cup of dog safe ice cream. He lives for them and once he's finished(doesn't take long lol!) he likes to look forlornly at every person in the house like this:
I greatly enjoy eating a meal while watching something and I usually do so on the couch. Koto, a very well trained service dog, knows begging is not done so he pretends to not even want any of my food:Post edited by Alianne at 2020-03-23 19:45:43I breed Drafts and star horses :D

As much as you can, just take each day one at a time, and find the happy. No matter how small, find something to smile about as often as you can. I don't have the time to ride my gelding and I sold my young mare, but I've started taking cloud pictures. I love clouds with the sunlight on them. There is something so beautiful about them. My dream job would be to tour the country and the world, taking pictures of clouds.Bluegrass #143376 * Specializing in Iced Axiom (ExPro Cobs) and Iced Phantoms (PF Riding Ponies)

something to think about ; if you are applying for unemployment ; you can also apply for student loan deferment ; also since its spring bunnies love that young grass and dandelions so you can give them yummy treats that are high in calories so you can cut back on the food ;; I don't think I can "Gift" my thank you GMT's but if there is a way for you to get them I have 5.
here is a hug from a west virginia pixelmom to you {{a pixiekid in Michigan}}Thanked by 1HayesStable -
I’m so sorry this is happening to you. I hope this all passes quickly. :(
We have a stay home order starting Wednesday. I still have some work, but not near as much.Thanked by 1HayesStable -
In the UK we have just gone into lockdown. Only allowed out to buy food or medicine. One walk or cycle ride a day. Luckily the weather is very nice and springlike at the moment and sunshine definitely makes people feel better.
My older daughter works three days a week in a bank which will still stay open. She doesn't work Mondays and Tuesdays so yesterday, for the first time, she had her 6 year old daughter home from school with all sorts of school work to do. My daughter posted pictures of them doing exercises from a guy on YouTube, pictures of my granddaughter sitting at the table doing written work, and pictures of them taking a walk in the fresh air. The final picture was of my daughter with a glass of wine after her very first day of homeschooling! She says she doesn't know how teachers do it day in and day out. I was a teaching assistant for many years, first in a primary school and then in a secondary school. I told her that now she knew why I took to drinking wine when I started working in schools!
:))
I've sent you a present - I hope things work out okay.Thanked by 1HayesStable -
HayesStable - if you don't mind me asking, are your student loans government or private loans? If they're private, I would call the bank or company and talk to them. I'm sure they're getting a lot of those calls right now. If they're government loans, I know I got notice on mine today that they're trying to temporarily postpone payments and drop interest to 0%. At any rate, check with your loan institution.
I got extremely lucky in that I can work from home (though it's somehow managed to make my job more stressful, which I didn't think was possible). Our city goes into shelter in place at midnight tonight, but they included a clause for people who need to leave to take care of pets, so at least I'm covered for taking care of my horses. I live in an apartment, so they're not going to be staying with me anytime soon. Lol.Thanked by 1HayesStable -
@bluchrystals Good luck! I lived in Ohio for 2 years for college :)
@Alianne What a cutie! He is such a handsome pup :x My pup re-discovered electric fences this morning and is now traumatized for life :))
@Johara Thank you for that :) And that sounds like a wonderful dream job! I love cloud watching during the day and stargazing at night
@annismyrph I will be talking to my dad about my loan payments since he set them up for me. And i do plan on spoiling my bunny. His name is Prince and he is a Solid Black Mini Lop (ironically he is quite smaller than what he should be for a Mini Lop lol). And thank you, the offer is enough :x
@paradoxphoenix I hope it passes quickly too. Good luck to you!
@White Valley My sister and i will definitely be doing a lot of riding in the next few days lol the weather has been so nice and we will go crazy staying in the house (my mom is in full on, hardcore, spring cleaning mode). And oh boy, I can only imagine the homeschooling thing :)) My boss from one of my jobs has 8 kids at home (2 biological and the rest adopted. 4 have down syndrome. I am best friends with her 18 year old biological daughter) and so she now has to home-school ALL of them! I wouldn't be surprised if she stocked up on several bottles of wine :))
@runaround66 I honestly am not sure what my loans are. My dad takes care of nearly everything except paying them (I sometimes borrow from him if i don't have enough). But i do plan on talking to him about it and seeing what we can do. I wish i could work from home :)) I am working on an art commission but i already had to use the money on other things and i doubt i will be selling any more art any time soon. And are you sure you don't wanna try to fit your horses in your apartment? What could possibly go wrong? :))Bluegrass Server: HayesStable - 221755

Lol. I don't think the 3 cats that share it with me would appreciate that. It's already a tight fit with us as it is.Thanked by 1HayesStable
