Due to multiple instances and problems I’ve run into with offering straws, I have made the decision to keep my lines strictly in-house until further notice. If we have a previous straw deal I will honor it, but otherwise eggs and straws will not be available.

Thank you! More than anything I want my lines held up to my standards, but I know I can’t make rules for others to follow the same so I figure it’s best this way.

Basically if sharing your horses makes you unhappy it is better not to share your horses. Nothing wrong with know that about yourself. :)

I do love sharing but with how much money I’ve invested in some of these lines, I think it’s better to err on the side of caution. I feel bad, of course, but I’d rather that then run into issues with anyone! :) I love this game too much to make it “un-fun.”

Guys, I’m really torn. I miss sharing my stock, I just wish people would respect my wishes. It’s a lose/lose situation. :( That Said, if you’re interested in eggs/straws from a particular stud, please PM me and maybe we can work something out!

I thought as long as they weren't publicly listed you " could" put parameters on the brood stock? Given that can't you just let people know you have a select few available with " these" restrictions?

If you want to share it is best to let go of the idea of ownership over what is outside your barn. Don't even bother to open the pages of those foals. You will be far happier not worrying about them. They don't affect your own lines. If you need to have "wishes" held over them it is best not to share as it won't bring happiness.

I have one line that I keep mostly to myself and the rest I’m more open with sharing.

Maybe that’s the answer for you, too? Rather than all of one or the other? Pick certain special horses you don’t want to share and share the others. :)

Very good points. I think my newest DP projects and fantasy projects will remain private/shared with close friends, but perhaps I’ll go back to sharing my older studs :)
