Yes, this is Azadeh's side account as you can think.
Just wanted to say that I reactivated my stables and I'm going to start breeding champagne horses. But something special - I want to breed from light riding horses to heavy drafts. I also want to create a line of very light riding horses.
Ugh, it'll be hard...Post edited by Azadi at 2016-03-06 08:29:18My main account: Azadeh #222012 -
It will be interesting to see the results of your breeding plan. Good luck with it, and please keep us posted.

I'm too lazy to log out and then log on my side account, so I'm posting as Azadeh.
It will be very hard. Now I have four mares and one stallion on my pasture and I'm going to breed 'em soon. They are very light - something about 0.80 to 0.90, and I don't want to spend more and more hbs to find any heavier riding horses. But as you know, warmbloods start at 1.50, so it will take much time 'til I breed even a light warmblood.understand the significance of signatures -
Okay, now I'm here.
I just bred my pastures - four mares and one stud. I got two colts and two fillies. So now I can say that I got the second generation.
One filly got snipped by MA and I sold one colt to FSYYC as he was too light (0.70). Second colt is 1.13 (yay! The heavier, the better! Here's the progress!), and fillies are a bit lighter (0.80 for the spayed filly and something over 0.70 for the intact one).
So...isn't bad!Post edited by Azadi at 2016-03-07 08:37:26My main account: Azadeh #222012 -
Looks like you've got a good start on increasing bone size. I've been running a slightly similar breeding plan in HaJ2--trying to see how short I can get a line of ponies. I think it's going to take a while, but I'm seeing some progress.

I've been breeding the heaviest riding horses I can find. So far the heaviest I've gotten is a tie at 1.47 bone size, both from a 1.23 sire - the dams are 1.25 and 1.22, but both babies have been spayed by free testing :( The next round of mares is going to wait in the pastures for a bit before I bring them out to meet the men.
