Are frames and or pearls worth anything?
-
Hello,
So I have been discovering that some of my foals have pearl, frame etc and I was wondering out of the more common colors, what are the more valuable ones? I have been struggling to figure out what to sell them as because I have no clue what to price them as.
Thanks for any help,
Pickabreed -
Frame is quite common and by itself doesn't particularly increase the value of a horse. Pearl is rarer, although not particularly rare. It used to be available only through the University Lab where you could design a horse to your exact specifications, for a price per gene that varied by its rarity. Now it is available in the GMT lab, where it costs more than the other alleles of the cream gene--C, no cream and Ccr, ordinary cream. It is not one of the more expensive genes there, so while it might increase the selling price for a horse that carries it some, it won't make it ultra expensive like the newer limited edition genes.
You could post links to the foals you want to sell and see if anyone might be interested in buying them. That would be the quickest way to find out their value to other players.
Rebud is right. Keeping them and showing them will eventually increase your point total and so your weekly showing bonus. If they turn out to be good showers, they will indeed bring you in more over their lifetime than you can probably sell them for.Post edited by SandyCreekAcres at 2016-03-08 15:02:55
