He tests AGA an expro foundation and is papered higher than his sire.

Unfortunately, I have lots of colts and he is lower then my almost-an-A benchmark stallion. Thought I’d give him a chance before I geld and yum

But look at how BIG his spots are!
Instead of selling him or yumming him, I’m tempted to hang on to him and zap him to a filly when he’s 3. :)) (I tend not to alter anything on lined foals until they’re close to breeding age or are. Just in case!)

I'm assuming he did, but did he test superior to sire?

I didn’t test him against his sire. I typically only test colts against the benchmark to save money.

My benchmark is a 2G who tests superior to an expro, so I’ve started testing against expros. (Because not all who test AGA that stallion also test sup to an Expro)

If you’re seriously interested, I can do that specific test.

I'm sure he'd test superior considering the testing you already did, but I'd want it confirmed. If he's still here when my daily bonus comes through, I'd appreciate it if you did and then I'll buy him provided he does test superior.

I was pretty much bound to buy this guy from the second I saw him, by the way. Hom DP. Bay pearl. Huge spots. If he was a leopard he'd be perfect

Isn’t he awesome?! That’s why I couldn’t just geld and auction. I would have kept him, but I already have one homozygous DP big spot colt who is sup to sire and AGA an expro. Who technically doesn’t meet the benchmark. But I kept anyway. :)) :))

I more or less separate my C foundation lines and my B foundation lines. He's just where I expect from the C lines, though he probably wouldn't cut it in the B lines. And dang he's pretty! :))
