However, it's a good idea to have show horses in your barn. One of the best ways to make money is through showing. Of course, you can show your breeding stock as well, I do, but neutered horses gain an advantage in training. The more horses you show, the more points they will gain from where they place in a class (all but the last horse in the show get at least half a point), and every week at rollover, when we are payed, we get a Showing Bonus currently equal to 50% of the total number of points all the horses in your barn at the time. It can take a while when you are just starting out, but it's a good goal to work toward.

However, this is a game that you can play anyway you like, within the rules, so if you really want to sell him, go ahead.

The showing bonus counts your current horses lifetime points. So all the horses points count towards the bonus but if you yum, sell, auction or the horse passes on, its points are removed from the count.
