I don't know what happened but now I'm upset
-
So, I was breeding some horses and testing them. The colt papered C so he got gelded but when I clicked on "My Barn" and looked he was still there. He wasn't stallion papered and he wasn't gelded. So I gelded him again and hit "My Barn" this time not only was he gelded but his Sir was to. I'm really upset about this. This guy was going to be my Foundation stud for my DP line. Now what do I do?

If you have a Facebook account, you could go to the official Hunt and Jump page, https://www.facebook.com/huntandjump/?fref=ts , request to be added, and then enter a request in the current Weekend Wishes post to have him "ungelded," being sure to leave your stable ID number. It might not be granted right away, but if you keep on entering the request each week, Ammit may be able to help you out.
Also, be sure to "Like" that Weekend Wishes.
I've seen similar requests on the list.Post edited by SandyCreekAcres at 2016-03-26 06:45:40 -
Unfortunately, what probably happened, and it happens a lot, is that you were still on the studs page, when you were looking at his foal, instead of bringing up a page with the foal only. I've seen it happen here a lot, and have done it myself a couple of times, so when you hit geld the first time, you probably gelded his sire then, instead of him which is why he was still a stallion when you saw him after you thought you gelded him.
If you would like, I have this ExPer stud, he is chestnut, but is SS not StySty. He is still able to be GMT'd if you want to add Sty to him. Can't say that he has any DP, but he does seem sort of dark to me for a SS horse. I'll give him to you at create price if you want him. I can put him up on buddy for you if you like, just let me know, I've already added you to my buddy list.

Think! - It's not illegal yet. -
Thanks Kerredan. I would love that boy. I know it wasn't what your talking about though. I had stallion papered and gelded his colt then when I hit the my barn page after doing so the colt was still there unpapered and ungelded. The Sir was there as well. Plan as day. So, I clicked the colt and gelded him a second time and then when I clicked my barn both where gelded but the colt sill wan't papered. When I gelded the colt the first time I went straight to his page from the stallion paper page. It's all really weird.

Whiskey, in the future, don't have multiple windows opened, and don't use the back button on the browser. The first makes it's really easy to geld the wrong horse that way, many of us have done it at least once, and the second doesn't update the page to show you changes you made.

I don't either for that reason and because I know the server doesn't like it either.

I know but he was a chestnut PF that I was using to breed to the liver girls I had.
