Created snowflake mare but is spayed
-
I just joind and managed to create myself a snowflake mare but after I tested it for breeding it was spayed somehow, which I didn't think was possible without me telling the game to do it. How I can't afford to ulalter it as that requires me purchasing a GMT token, which i can't afford,so is there any other way to remove this? The horse in question is

Welcome @Michae ,
am guessing you did " breeding Advice" which is a basic test from the game to see if the horse is worth breeding or not ; and she failed ; which means there is something "off" about her ( could be conformation issues or anything ) and since she is NON appaloosa ; she is a Hetero Snowflake ( which means if you bred her she has a 50% chance of passing the gene ) also she wont show the "snowflake" markings I don't think, you really want the SN gene to be on Appys ( imo ) for the best chance of success to show the "fading"Post edited by annismyrph at 2020-05-29 01:46:16 -
Its better to keep her spayed, let her be a show pony. She is earning you 52hbs everyday. And she will earn you more money as she shows and earns more points. Show ponies will be your money makers in this game.
Breeding Advice helps to give you horses that produce good foals. Passing breeding advice means the horse is a good producer.
There are plenty of members with snowflake carrying stallions up for breeding. You should be able to breed your own snowflake carriers.Post edited by Humboldt at 2020-05-29 05:09:39 -
I am happy to give you this snowflake-carrying mare if you are interested. She is an exceptional producer, so she passed BA.

The testing pages also have a pop up box that says "Are you sure you wish to get advice on 1 horse? They may be automatically gelded or spayed." You had to click on that OK button or else the test would not have run.Post edited by ConfluenceStable at 2020-05-29 16:21:07

Disappointing but she's a good horse with a lot of points so keep her, she'll be valuable in the run!

Crowned, thanks for your kind offer of giving me that mare. I'd be very grateful for it,but you'd have to walk me through the process as I've been on Hunt and Jump for a total of one day,so very new to everything. Anyways thanks for the advice. When I initially saw Snowflake I was over the moon, but wasn't really paying attention to the breeding results apart from that.Post edited by Michae at 2020-05-30 05:59:27

@Michae ; I d suggest reading the Beginner's guide by Confluence at the top of the discussions box, as well as the FAQs Guide ( if you are on a computer its in the left task bar ) both provide invaluable info for this game :)

And we also have this offer:

@michae -ill send you a PM with instructions for picking up the mare.

In order for snowflake to show it has to be homozygous and on an appy. Without the appy gene present it does nothing, and it's recessive, so you need two copies.
This mare is another carrier- she only has one copy, so she'll never show the snowflake herself even though she does have appy, but she'll pass it on to half her foals. Bred to snowflake stallions, she's got pretty decent odds of throwing snowflake babies. If you click on her name under her picture it will open her page, and then if you scroll down you'll find a 'buy this horse' button under her information. Click that ;)

And don't worry about it at all! My main concern is making sure there's not people intentionally buying reserved horses in my chatroom! I'm 99.99% sure that's not what happened, so it's not a big deal at allSpiderweb Stables
