for some reason last month I was sure i read somewhere that we would get the option to add RGS to clones (maybe a limited time? or maybe it was the option to GMT off fantasy genes idk) but I must be remembering it wrong lol. So my chin/nex/satin clone that i was going to add some rgs too is now stuck in limbo while i figure out what to do with her.

So I guess i'm starting over with a new fresh non-clone pony! this bbts mare is getting hom chinchilla, nexus, satin and nacre, and i'll probably swing kitM and kp2 just because i like how it looks on the nexus lol. all that on a silver black nd1 base for those pretty dapples hehe. she'll be changed into a He also, to join Icarus as one of my chin/nex sires.

and I still have 2 liberation actualization creates that i'm a little stuck on. This girl i was going to experiment with phantom diamond sparkles, KP2 and kit M (mostly bc i like how ph autumn, kp2 and kitM look and i thought it might be cool as well). Then decide whether to make her mushroom and satin, or switch her to a bay and go the chocolate/satin route. either way i still have an extra liberation filly that i want to do something with as well, so money permitting i'll have 3 new gmt ponies this month XD

I have 2 current projects.

The first one is my first Chinchilla. I intended to put Satin, some KIT genes and play with KP1 on one DNA-strand, and KP2 on the other DNA strand, but to be honest, I love the silver stripes so much, that I don't think I will change her much.

I think I will save up for another Chinchilla (she need a husband, doesn't she?) and add those genes on him.

x Riddles in the Dark

The next one is one I have not started with yet.

I want to:
- Make her a stallion and add an E
- Add Onyx, Chocolate, SplM, Satin and Dun promoter.

This is my project for the month! She absolutely needs Kit M (hoping it goes up in the RGS so I can add it to both strands) but I have also included a list of "bonus" genes that I would love to have in her notes. I don't necessarily plan to add them all, but would be happy to receive any of them and hopefully that makes it a little more fun for my gifter to choose from! :)

I have re-rolled this horse well over 200 times. ugh!
Add 2 copies of satin, add a copy (or two) of nacre, and possibly plaid if it ever goes on sale.

Needless to say, all of mine need satin, and alot of them need onyx. I'm hoping we can get more of a variety of genes to pop up for the RGS this next week.

Oh, I hadn't even realized there was a topic like this. I'm a little late to the party, but now I actually have something new to show :D

The most recent RGS finds for me have been chinchilla and watercolor. Chinchilla is nice because of the deep gray shade of dappling it gives horses and watercolor is just really fun with it's surprise shades. It also works beautifully with the recently established brindle.

I think I'll continue GMTing this watercolor colt into some direction. I just have to decide which way I want to go. I think I'll try to make him a bit darker, if I can. Axiom would probably work well on him. I'll see if I can snatch it up at some point.

I've also really gone crazy over chocolate. I have GMTd some variety into my herd - trying to triangulate what genes work the best with this gene. I've found plenty of good options.

This one has chocolate and carries chinchilla, which I think works beautifully together when homozygous.

I was originally thinking of GMTing Galahad even more, but I actually like how he turned out half-way done. That enhanced shade of red with some shading from the nd1 is really nice, I think.

One of my lighter chocolates. Adding double DP made him really dappled and I stopped right there to keep him that way.
