and it depends on what you are looking for ; you can use color name * like * Appy
or you can use the gene lp ; BUT snowflake is not yet searchable

What are you looking to hire someone to do? I have some free time and could definitely use HB's.

I skip any self-identifying stuff ('cuz searching by owner ID is a thing and I'd rather have more random words lol), & put generation (E#/G# depending on the account) in the names of any BA-passing babies (some accounts I change it to "MG" if I opt to speld them for consistency/not-the-genes - helps keep track of which mares are producing spelds & which aren't). I also do either/or on the name/horse number - if I'm auto-generating names, I replace the number with whatever autogen wills, or if I'm coming up with names, I replace the number, or I just leave them a number. When I go through opening pictures, I also tag any non-searchable genes (snowflake, dp, kp, gp, PATN1 if I'm feeling ambitious) - if you're good about putting everyone in breeders clubs, you can find your hom snowflake/kp/gp that way, though (there's a "Breeders Club" box on the search page - also fantastic for finding DP, but only ee ones).

Speld is a contraction of spayed mare and gelding

I put the era and pt numbers on the horse, it might get a random number or letter just to keep them from having the same name til i get around to naming them how i like.

When you hire someone but don't give out your password, can they breed for you? Or it just occurred to me I could put the mares I want to breed all to the same stallion in one pasture with the stallion? should i breed or let themselves breed, and how do they get names?

If you put mares in a pasture with just one stallion then that stallion will breed to all the mares. You can breed the pasture yourself from the 5th of the month (if you have spent real money on the game in the last month) or the 7th of the month (if you haven't). If you don't breed the pasture yourself it will automatically breed on the 15th of the month. All foals will be named with their id number. Make sure you take foals out of the pasture before the 28th of the month or they will disappear.
