Phantom genes are not part of the RGS.

They have never been part of the RGS. Not all genes are available through it.

Ammit releases special genes for each of the seasons ; they are not always posted, I see you are fairly new here so maybe that's why you are having confusion?
the Diamond Sparkle gene was released for the June anniversary, the Liberization RS was released today ( unannounced ) for Juneteenth. its just a matter of waiting ; Are you ONLY planning on breeding Bats and Skulls? and thus need the license for them? if not maybe work on the rest of your herd and wait for the Phantoms to be released again in October to work on that line

OK , I just used the Search and found 25 pages of Mares only with Bats only ; many of whom have not yet been bred this month ; I don't see any reason why you cant reach out and ask if you can use them to broodmare ? and extend your herd that way ? your stud can cover more than 50 mares if you pull straws from him

Sorry, what do you mean by breed evenly?

Oh, I didn't realise there was a term for that! I do want to breed even generations for sure. I am less concerned about paper levels. I do want to continue the line through as many generations as possible. I do the basic breed inspection but typically not SBA. I might start papering my stallions but likely won't the mares.

We had ALL special genes on sale at once for a short time in November/December-ish. Thats when they got it.

Sometimes ammit posts that sale again, key word sometimes. Usually for a reason, like the last time was for the start of Covid. But before you know it, October will be here and they’ll be back.

Thank you both. I am looking for black draft appys for my breeding project, so if you have anything that fits that (EE/aa) with bats I would be interested. Otherwise I'm good to wait. I have the right horses, they just need the bats. At least if I wait it gives me time to save up my hb for more GMTs if I need them.

I'm okay with waiting to be honest, it just sucks that I can't get what I want right now!

Give it some more time- its not part of the RGS so won’t happen automatically- so need to give ammit time to add them manually. It’ll be there, don’t worry! :-)

@Camden ; they were added late last month :)

If I remember right they don't get added till almost Halloween.

@Kintra Do you know when that is? This is my first year being around for this so I am not familiar with when things start. I wish it was just posted somewhere in the FAQ or rules. I'd like to be able to plan some, both in terms of from when I get paid, and in terms of if I should pull my horses from the pasture to wait to breed or not too.

Thank you. Ugh. That is frustrating but I will just have to keep checking. I really wish it said somewhere. I don't know whether to pull the stallions out of my pasture so I can breed everyone later or not.
