KP vs KP2

I can't seem to find the answer I'm looking for. What is the difference between KP and KP2?

KP needs 2 copies of kit mutations and 2 KP to show.
I believe kp2 only needs 1 copy to show I can’t remember how many kit mutations as I cull my Kp horses without double white patterns and my KP and KP2 are mixed in togetherBreeding even generation Grullos with KP, Axiom RBG & Wrong Warp, Chinnchilla, Onyx, Phantom Autumn, Bats, Ghosts, Pumpkins, Skulls & Spiders, Plaid, Watercolour genes -
KP adds random patches of roan-like clouding when active, as seen on this stallion's hindquarters:

KP2 puts roan edges on the existing white markings:

With kp2, does heterozygous vs homozygous show much difference? I'm debating putting in on a project horse on Mesa.

Kp2 shows up with heterozygous as long as the horse has KIT gene white markings. No difference with homozygous as far as I know. But if you have one copy of each Kp and Kp2 you get the effects of both
