I removed several notifications, one at a time, about horses that were bred or got on trouble. I removed the last not needed one, and the straws that I hadn't been able to buy because I don't have the license disappeared. There were 6 entries, 3 each from 2 horses. If there's some way of finding who they came from, I'll just replace them, but I don't remember who is selling them to me. No biggie, just a "It would be nice if..." (I refreshed the page and can't think what else I should try.)
(Oh, and I didn't click on remove all. Did that by mistake a couple of times in the past.)

Once they have been removed they don’t come back unless the player resends them.

But if you don’t have the licenses to use them you can’t buy them anyways so if the were bought for other players it’s best to ask the stud owner to send it directly to the player they were bought for and either send a money transfer or buy a horse from them for the agreed price.

You can always look through your past comments or pm inbox to see who you’ve requested straws from that you don’t have in your inventory or have used to make foals recently

yes, I couldn't buy the straws because the license for those straws I didn't have yet. but the owner who sent them to me did say they had no expiry date. They were in the notices for quite a while. I'm not sure what you mean?

on the main discussion page ; there is a tab bar ; you should see "discussions" or "comments" with a number next to it ; if you click that you will see every conversation you ve had in the discussions board.

Oh, thank you, I noticed the tab and looked at it, but didn't realize it showed everything.

I wouldn’t suggest holding straws in limbo. It’s best to ask for straws after you’ve got the appropriate licenses.

So that they aren’t accidentally cleared.

In the past there have been issues with straws/ eggs being used by the owner before the buyer had picked them up. The codings been changed to keep that from happening but just like you shouldn’t use the pastures for extra storage I wouldn’t suggest storing eggs/straw sales in the notices.
