    @annismyrph, I didn’t either! But since brindles are the result of two embryos that have combined, I’m guessing that that one embryo was from his first set of DNA and the other was from his second set, so when they combined she got genes from both sets

    yeah BUT one set has to be from MOM and one set from DAD ; so it makes absolutely no sense that she got both from dad 0.o

    @annismyrph both sets are effected by both parents. For example, the mom was Hom SB1, and the dad was Hom Roan, so the goal is Het for both of those genes on both sets of DNA.

    This foal has four sets of genes, like all chimera do. She has two father sets, one on each chi half, and similarly two mother sets. What they're saying is that the two father sets came one each from the two chimera halves of the father, instead of both from the same side. The mother sets are both from the mother, which adds up to four sets, which is two twins merged into one chimera
