So my roommate has an account (Aleria) and has a basic upgrade. We share the same computer a lot of the time but are not the same person. Would we get in trouble if I bought her horses (for reasonable amounts of hbs)? She's not creating any horses for me specifically and has posted on the forum her sale and I only found out through that. I just don't want to get our accounts in trouble.

I know for certain that it's fine as long as you both have premium accounts, but if you don't then I'm not sure.

you might want to ask ConfluenceStables on this one ; technically I think you are an associated account because you are in the same household

Definitely double check but I believe that if the game will allow you to buy them from her, it's okay. Some categories of related account sales are definitely prohibited, but the game automatically blocks those.

Over the years Ammit has systematically closed a bunch of loopholes to make it hard for people to deliberately cheat, and to ensure people don't accidentally do something they're not supposed to. Win win either way.

You guys most likely sure the sane ip address since you use the same router and thus the system will block you from being able to buy horses from eachother there is no way to tell if you guys are really different people. And this has been abused by new user quite a bit. only way to get around this is for both accounts have upgrades.

If you can't purchase horses from each other, you could each buy an upgrade for one month only and then let it go until the next time you need an upgrade.

You may not share horses because you are in the same household. (people lie about this all the time so we have to be firm on the rule) If you both have a premium upgrade you can share all you want though. :)

I have an associated account in (226648) which is annoying as I have no idea who that is :/ Probably someone who lived here a few years ago but since moved out.

As long as you are not trying to buy horses from, or send/get cash from that other account, being associated will not affect you in any way, DarkFrost. That person has not signed on since 2017, and it's not very likely that they will come back and want to re open the account.

I ended up taking over her account because she struggled to understand the game (she is new to horses). I told her I would try to build up her breeding stock so that she can at least do breeding (she loves getting a new foal) but we both have a premium upgrade so there should be no issues, right?

@Darkfrost: I apparently created this account in 2016 (?) I didn't remember it at all and was surprised when I went to try and make an account with the same name and it was like "already exist!"

As long as both accounts have premium upgrades you are fine
